「I stayed for two days at this location . On the first day I mostly grabbed custard and relaxed at the rental. I somehow missed that the place had a hot tub and pool, so I was pleasantly surprised. The next day, I traveled to White Sands. The Vrbo provided sleds, which I gladly used to enjoy the beautiful park. It was a pretty simple drive. 「If you like getting away from it all then you might like staying here. My husband and I both grew up on a farm/ranch and love the outdoors. Being in cities, hotels, traffic and noise is not our style. If you are looking for manicured lawns, beautiful edifices with all the trappings, this would not be for you. 「Very nice place. Room and house has character. Restaurants and shopping all within 5-10 minutes. Host was helpful and easy to communicate with. We would stay here again. 」

「Lovely place. Response to requests for assistance were prompt, and Carla was friendly and very efficient. This was the third time I have stayed here, and I enjoy it very much. The only drawback is the noise - the building has lots of banging/creaking going on. During the day it is not too noticeable but can be quite loud at night.」

As a health IT and writer, privacy and safety are my main concerns, and you get both with the "Shay" properties. This location is very convenient for shopping and outdoor activities. I would highly recommend this location for single travelers and couples.」

「We had a a wonderful time staying at Lake Roberts over Christmas! The wilderness setting and surrounding landscapes were amazing. Our room was cozy, comfortable and artfully decorated. The staff could not have been more helpful. Would highly recommend. And the nighttime sky was filled with more stars than this city-dweller had ever seen!」

「The check in process was easy. Barbara provided clear instructions and was quick to respond to questions. She was flexible in our check-in time. Although the property could use a few upgrades, it was very clean and equipped with most of what we needed for our stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. The neighborhood is safe and quiet.」

Location is in perfect walking distance to the Plaza and surrounding area which we totally enjoyed. The hosts are ready to help should any questions arise like extending your stay, which we did. 「The host was very timely in responding. When we arrived, the house was very clean, well taken care of and had plenty of space. We will definitely be back during the summer to spend tome at the lake. It was a couple of minutes to the lake. Absolutely loved this place and would recommend staying here.」
