"Room was clean, newly updated, and well equipped. Worth having a river view room, if you can. Watched a blue heron fishing while admiring the well kept gardens. Very quiet and comfortable."

"What an incredible value for the money … put this place 25 miles in any direction and it would be twice the price. Beautiful remodeled facility, great pool and hot tub (more adult hours than 8-10pm would be nice), green, serene grounds with waterfalls everywhere. Only drawback was iffy service: efficient check-in with a sour face, nobody answered the phone when we called repeatedly to get help with an obnoxious yappy dog (correction: innocent dog with inconsiderate owner) … had to go downstairs to the lobby to hunt up some help. Oh, in all fairness: lovely waitress at breakfast."

"Was super surprised by this hotel! Picked it purely based on location/price, since I knew we wouldn’t be spending much time at the hotel… so I was caught off guard when the property was so nice! Super clean, super friendly staff. It didn’t at all feel like a generic hotel chain. Decent sized pool. The continental breakfast wasn’t particularly thrilling (none of them are), but the food was better than average and the seating area was huge. (And cannot express enough how friendly and kind all of the staff we ran into were!)"
