「The home was nice and cozy. It met all our needs, had a well stocked kitchen, linens and laundry. The rooms and bedding were setup nice and clean. Each room has a portable AC so we had to turn that on once we arrived to let the place cool down and air circulate. The location was about 25 minutes drive from Bar Harbor and usually 20-25 minutes away from our daily activities, but it worked out for us just fine.」

「The design and decor of the house were exactly as pictured - an adorable little bungalow that comfortably slept our family of 5. I missed it in the fine print, but other travelers should be aware that there is no A/C upstairs - just in the main room on the first floor. Unfortunately, in mid-July, it was extremely hot upstairs, but our kids did fine with it. We were comfortable on the first floor.」

「Our family of 4 and 3 dogs enjoyed our stay in this beautiful spot. Being right on the water made for a nice view in the early mornings and evenings. We were within easy access to restaurants and a short drive to everything Acadia has to offer. Our top activities included pastries and pizza from Little Notch bakery, visiting the Carroll homestead, hiking the Wonderland trail, visiting the lighthouse, the beach, and Jordan Pond loop with popovers afterwards. So many nice extra touches like the coffee bar and the snacks! There is a great amount of land to walk the dogs on (just not fenced). It seemed like an incredibly safe area, even walking at night.
