「The hotel was very cute and quaint. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! We had dinner in the bar and it was great, as well. There was a bus stop just across the street, but we decided to walk to town, and it was a very easy walk. We would definitely stay here again.」

「No ventilation in Room 11 despite one of the windows opening just slightly. This was made worse by the fact that the weather and temperature were extremely warm. Could have been improved with a fan which there was none」

「We had an amazing time,the surroundings are just incredible,so beautiful and peaceful.My family really enjoyed the barn and we played board games,lit a fire which was fabulous.The option to BBQ also.We had such fun.Our huts were just gorgeous,everything was spotlessly clean,the bed was so comfortable and the bedding was to a very high standard.We took a stroll through the meadow and had a turn in the paddle boat on the the water on the grounds,so much fun.The hosts really take great care of this...

「Fabulously well appointed and comfortable property a short drive from Kilkenny, but far enough to avoid the crush of tourists. Wonderfully helpful staff, great dining choices. Highly recommend.」

「We had a nice big room and the buffet breakfast was very good value.」

「Hotel room was extremely hot: NO AC which may be fine except during July temperatures. We had to sleep on top of the covers with the drapes open and the window open just to try and get some cool air. Traffic noise and lighting from the parking lot affected our sleep. It just wasn't a positive experience. The hotel lobby has AC but not the rooms. We were sweating in the middle of the night. A major hotel chain in the 21st c. needs to upgrade and get AC.」

「Wonderful staff, very helpful, clean room, superb and sumptuous breakfast, onsite parking, very fast internet. Unfortunately, with an ambient temperature of less than 14 Deg C in the area, and as there was no central heating or availability of a space room heater, the whole night was very cold for us and ended up with a sore throat, despite two layers of blanket over the quilt. It may be normal for locals, but for visitors from warmer part of the world, it`s very uncomfortable.」
