My good friend and I had a weekend stay after a busy holiday season. Our criteria were that we had to be somewhere we could see the beach from inside the condo and that it was dog-friendly.
While the images on the listing made the condo look to be newly renovated, it's important to know that it is much more of an older cabin on the sea than a midcentury modern renovation.
The location is unbeatable, and the views are amazing. Huge windows!
However, the place needs lots of love, and we're not sure it will still be standing the next time we visit. I had to contact the property manager for clean sheets -- they had stains where people last slept -- housekeeping brought clean ones that were definitely better. There are stains on things, lots of wear and tear, not super clean overall. I even went to The Dollar Store to get cleaning supplies to kill mold in the master bathroom and wipe everything down. The front door is the type of door you would see at an office complex, so that's weird and none of the windows open.
I say all this because I think it could be an AMAZING property with some investment. Repaint the place, buy all new furniture, bedding, and towels, and fix the siding and the deck so you don't worry about falling through. get a new front door, etc.
All in all, we had a great time and it is a charming little place -- you just have to be in the right frame of mind when you get there. The online images aren't painting a true picture.
