「We very much enjoyed our stay at Fare Arihau Vairoo. The room was lovely and comfortable. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming and took care of us as though we were family. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. All the food was prepared by our host from local ingredients mostly grown in their own garden. All the food was exceptional and the service, some from our hosts little girls, was delightful.」

「Aroa Kainga is one of the best places we ever stayed at. The bungalow and the veranda offer plenty of space and the kitchen is perfectly equiped - you'll find everything you need if you wish to cook your own meals. Location is particularly good if you are into snorkelling as the nearby beach is the best snorkelling place in Rarotonga. 「This is a great property if you wish to explore the south side of the island, or if you have your own vehicle. Unfortunately it is NOT 2.5 miles from the airport or the cruise ship port. It is on the opposite side of the island, Depending on traffic, a 90 - 150 minute drive. $115 taxi drive. You can get a 3 day tourist bus pass for 1 franc (a bus ride is 4 francs) but the busses stop running at 4:00 local time. 「The staff were very kind. The view from the 4th floor was amazing. It’s great that the store is right nearby, but it was dark and I felt a little uneasy walking there alone at night.」

「A quiet and peaceful place. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. However, you shouldn't expect the room to be cleaned, probably due to lack of house keepers. The check-in time is 2PM, but I needed to wait till 4PM since the room was not ready. Also, the next day the house keeper came around 5pm and it was too late. On the third day, I had requested cleaning for the room, but they didn't even come to the room.」
