Great location

The property was very clean. There is a bar unfortunately behind the room and it got loud over the weekend, however ear plugs were provided in the room. An A/C unit would have done wonders to the experience. When returning from spending time on the lake, the room was warmer than outside. The walls are also paper thin and I could hear my neighbors.the location, cleanliness, and room were nice overall.

This was a great place! The room is cozy and had everything we needed. They even left us ear plugs for the noise but it wasn’t even very noisy. Everything was clean, there was shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and they left us plenty of towels. We will definitely be back as we’ve decided this will be the only place we’ll stay in SLT!

Expectations vs Reality

The rooms look great in the photos. In reality the room was not clean and the finish poor. The previous occupants hair was all over the floor and in the shower drain, along with their toothpaste stains left on shelving. The flooring was broken with laminate boards out of place and the transition strips between the tiles and the laminate causing a trip hazard. Surfaces were dusty and the bed linen comprised of individual sheets and an uncovered duvet - the whole room didn't feel particularly hygienic. The worst thing of all was when I contacted Tahoe Mountain Inn about these issues I had no answer on the phone number provided, no response to the emails sent and no response to the Instagram DM. But they were very keen for me to leave my review on check out; so here we are. Would not recommend.
