「Really enjoyed my stay in the loft. Spacious and full of memorabilia. Was great to have a private bathroom and room itself was quiet. Forgot to turn the air down before coming back late or temperature was a little too warm for a great night’s sleep, so remember to do that as it takes s while for the room to cool down being on the top floor. The host, Don, was very friendly and took time to explain some history of the house and Avanti cars and even took us over to see two over the cars across...

「It was such a lovely location, very clean and close enough to civilization to have access to anything we could want, but far enough away to help us feel relaxed. My only suggestion would be to bring your own natural fiber sheets if you don’t enjoy sleeping on polyester」

My husband and I and our friends were pleased and very much enjoyed our stay here. Our only regret was not getting to meet Mike and Lisa personally. Highly recommend the Shire.」

「outdoor stairs were a fun adventure for us with a snow storm, but we made it. We really enjoyed the front porch and heater in there while resting and reading. 」

「We were so happy with the property, the perfect getaway with our pup. The back deck was great for an evening glass of wine and we were surprised to see two pairs of swans gliding along the lake our first night there. Our pup had fun chasing the boat waves while we relaxed on the shoreline. Close to so many great dog friendly places. We will definitely be back for a longer stay in the future!」
