"This was our 2nd stay at Ruby. The first time, about 3 months ago had a wonderful "real" breakfast offered at a co-joined restaurant with fantastic choices and amazing attentive and helpful staff. This time...it was a high-Carb packaged offer without fresh fruit, eggs or protein on site. Won't stay again for this price; nothing unique to draw us to and pretty much generic in value. Too bad...so sorry."

"The property was in good condition and the paking is very convenient. The only thing I noticed was two nights out of a week I would hear a higher humming sound coming from somewhere, so it made it really hard to sleep unless you wore earplugs all night."

"This was our second time staying here. The first time we stayed in a hot tub suite and the beds were MUCH more comfortable than our double queen room. The beds in the double queen were pretty bad. The property is nice, pool is great, love that it's walking distance to everything downtown. Will definitely stay again while passing through."

"Lovely place. Clean, quiet, new and private. Had to call the host for directions (google maps is not correct - we recommend get directions info ahead of time. "

"The place was very clean and comfortable, if somewhat quirky. It is located across the drive from the owner's home and has access to the lake and dock. The owner even invited us to join them on the deck f the home as well. Rene is great and accommodating. Be aware the drive driveway down to the home and cottage is very steep and tight. If you are driving a bigger vehicle or are not comfortable with tight driving conditions it would be best to park at the top of the drive and walk down. The cottage has a limited kitchen in it so be prepared. This was not a problem for us as we planned simple meals, but don't expect an oven of large cooktop (only has a hotplate and microwave). The cottage is really made for just two people. There is a small bathroom, a private nice sized bedroom, and then a small common area. Privacy in the bedroom is good with curtains and windows that generally face nature, but there are no curtains on the windows in the rest of the cottage."
