We really loved starting off at this hotel for the first stop of our honeymoon! I came across of it very late in the booking process, but was glad I did. It came highly recommended by a friend who recently visited as well.
Let’s start off with the view - it’s stunning. We had the balcony open air room (#423), which basically had its own private infinity pool next to it. We didn’t see any one use it during our stay as it’s the opposite end of the resort from the lobby. We loved the balcony and the view from the room. It was stunning and quite large, around 550 sq ft! The room itself would get a 1 star though. The shower head had no hot water during the entirety of our stay. The ladder to the cove was loose, which isn’t safe when climbing it. Lastly, there was either an earthquake or the bass from the music in Soufriere town directly impacts room 423, which is the edge most room on a hill. One night, the bed started violently shaking for quite a bit and we got scared awake. Please note that the open air rooms have no AC, if that’s a factor for you!
The staff members were friendly and hard working - especially Tim. He was a one stop man who helped with everything. Truly my favorite staff member. He even took us to town one night for dinner. The eco resort has friendly staff all around.
The food at the restaurant was good too! We loved having dinner and breakfast there with the view. Especially while feeding the resort dog, who made our stay memorable.
Overall, 8/10!
