We wish for every single guest to enjoy themselves whilst they are staying with us, it does not look like you did unfortunately.When booking a room through any website, especially a 3rd party website like this one, I would advise anyone to read the amenities their room will have prior to booking - in this case the room pictures show it's an open air room with mesh instead of windows, the amenities indicate there is a fan, and no AC.As far as mother's day festivities in the nearby town, which is only a few minutes walk downhill from the property, it is the Caribbean, and this is the culture. We have only been open for 2 years, the pictures online are literally pictures taken during those 2 years, zero photoshop. The majority of other guests seem to believe the opposite and like the property better than what they saw in the pictures.I believe a few more minutes of research could have been to your advantage, but in the end it's a shame you did not have the experience you expected, and for that I apologize.All the best and kind regards,

Expedia (in your case through their Hotels.com site) does not have the ability to add the words "Open Air" to any description (for any resort/hotel in the world), but the pictures, together with the "Fan" amenity instead of air-conditioning listed for this particular room, have to date ensured that other Expedia bookers have been aware that room is an open air room. Not 100% ideal if you don't read through amenities of a room you book, but not much we can do in that case.I'm sorry you were not satisfied with our housekeeping, a simple message to our team could have resolved that immediately, no problem.I would have hoped to read that you received a complimentary upgrade to another room (and more!) but we will have to stomach the score of a 6.

The upgrade to one of the largest suites was an act of genuine kindness by our team, I regret we were not aware how this would have been an inconvenience to you, for which I would like to apologize.I would however advise anyone to communicate with the property where they are staying concerning any special event and preparations, to ensure everyone is on the same page.
