「The cabin is wonderful. Very cute and decorted to make it sooo cozy. Loved the hot tub and the rocking chairs on the porch. Did get to see a barge on the river. Only complaint is the yard needs weedeated. Cant really mow it so weedeat it and cut some low limbs and it would be perfect.」

「We’ve stayed at this beautiful property numerous times for a family reunion and it’s one of our all time favorite properties anywhere! Spotless, comfortable furnishings and beds and everything you could possibly need to cook and enjoy time with family. The hosts are super responsive and even provide a treat at time of check in. 「Me and my wife were looking for a nice weekend getaway. And found Gwen and Bear’s Cabin listed. The Cabin is right down the mountain from Petit Jean State Park. Which was exactly what we were looking for! The privacy of the cabin and the woods and small stream next to the cabin were also great! All around was an awesome experience and we will definitely be booking again!」

「We enjoyed the house, the deck was awesome, the main drawback was having only 1 bathroom, for a place that big you would expect 2 bathrooms. It was just myself & my husband who stayed if the other family had come, 1 bathroom would have been a big problem.」

「The location is conveniently close to the state park and it's a very short drive to access the trails and visitor's center. However, the cottage has a musty smell and the burners on the stove were warped to the point that we had trouble cooking our food. We also had some issues with the AC unit in the bedroom.」

「We planned to stay at this little cabin to view the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. Planning about 1 1/2 years ahead of time we were hoping for good weather. The weather was perfect as was the cabin. We love the little fishing pond and the quite of the mountain. Morning sunrises beautiful. The cabin had anything you may need including a nice spice selection. 「This property was reasonably priced and comfortable for the most part. The neighborhood was quiet. The interior was clean with some nice touches but there were some issues. The outside area was not well maintained so debries was carried in with traffic in and out. An issue arouse with the plumbing in the kitchen sink and while the host initally responded quickly, the fix did not come for five days leaving backed up water and garbage disposable sludge standing in both sinks. 「the hotel was physically nice. A little worn but that comes with a value "play" that is not brand new. The person at the desk was all right. The person later in the day helped me with some "issues". The remote control was broken on the TV and would not change channels. she got the TV going again, but I could not figure out how to change the channels. It was a broken remote with duct tape helping it stay together. Outisde of that it was a good stay.」
