"The staff was very friendly and helpful. They took the time to give us recommendations for area restaurants and information on the layout of the town. Our room was very clean and spacious. The Inn is located perfectly for walking to restaurants, shops, and local attractions in South Haven. If you are a cycling fan, you can launch from the hotel and ride to both the Kal-Haven and Van Buren trailheads. "

"It is called the hospitality business for a reason. During my stay I witnessed both the front desk staff and the breakfast room staff treating guests with disrespect. In the breakfast room a young boy spilled his cup of orange juice. As his mom tried to clean up the orange juice, it was clear that a few napkins were not going to be enough. She politely asked the breakfast bar attendant if there was a mop. The attendant said No, and added that there was just one mop for the entire hotel and that she could not use it. The mom and another hotel guest ended up cleaning the floor with napkins. The mother was black. The breakfast bar attendant was white. At check in another guest was told three times by the staff that if she damaged the room she would be liable for damages. She did not look like someone who would damage a room. I would say this hotel is lacking in basic hospitality."

"The staircase going up stairs had some kind of odor and the walls in the room had stuff all over it and the bathroom sink and shower looked liked they hadn’t been cleaned. I forgot something in the room when I checked out and asked if I can get a key or something to go back in and the fro desk told me there was staff on the floor to ask them I did ask them and explained to them what happened and what the guy at the desk said and they ignored me and went back to work so I called the other person in my party and asked her to go tell the man at the desk what’s "

"Clean, comfortable rooms, and staff is extremely friendly. The morning breakfast is very good. We always stay here on our S. Haven trips. "

"No warm or hot water in shower or kitchen sink told front desk they did nothing for me didn’t move me rooms didn’t offer refund they wouldn’t even answer me "

"We had a family emergency so we had to leave the first night, therefore did not partake in the breakfast. The day manager that my husband spoke to was so kind and accommodating since we had to cancel our 2 remaining days. The kitchen lacked supplies, the evening mgr said guests steal the flatware, dishes etc. she was able to get flatware & dishes from another room. Bathroom soap, shampoo dispensers were empty, which she filled for us."

"Lost my intial reservation,asked for a plastic fork and said the supply truck doesn't arrive until the next day ( after my stay ended). front desk rude!"
