"Nice overall. 3 bedroom and has all amenities. Was here long term for 2 months. Had a very pleasant stay. Would of liked a little more comfortable mattress for long term stay. Perfect for a vacation rental. Area is very nice and not to far from town. Would stay there again if i came back. Lots of owls in the evenings which was very cool. Every day they show up, so it was neat yo see."

"We were very disappointed that the af did not properly explain the property The bathrooms and showers were more than 200ft away from our cottage. There was no running water at all in our cottage, as well as not hot running water in the bathrooms only in the shower. The pathways to the cottages were slippery and not at all well lit The hot tub cover was too big for our hot tub and made it very difficult and dangerous to walk by to the bathroom as well as not well lit. "The owner of this property must use google translator as most of the messages he sent me made no sense. This then made it difficult to understand the check in process. Thank goodness the kind lady at the registration office clarified things for me. I understood that towels/tea towels would be included with the linens, but there was an extra fee for these items. Just a note for mobility challenged guests, the stairs are very steep and narrow."

"This quiet back-water close to the town of Makkum makes an ideal base for chilling out and communing with nature. For the bird-lover the area teems with wildfowl. We heard a Bittern. We used the spacious accommodation as a base for cycling and were not disappointed. The hosts were kind and considerate. Home-produce was available from this small-holding."

"I stayed here for 6 nights with my wife and we really enjoyed it. The town is very quiet but it's a short drive to cities like Leeuwarden and Harlingen for activities. There is a grocery store in the next town over so it's a quick drive or bike ride if you need to pick up anything. "Sehr nette Gastgeber und freundlicher Check-In. Sehr ruhiger Ferienpark und sehr tolles Haus. Unser Hund hat sich in dem großen Garten sehr wohl gefühlt. Im Haus war alles vorhanden was man braucht. Uns war es leider schon etwas zu ruhig. Ohne Fahrzeug ist man aufgeschmissen. Wir hatten eine schöne Woche im Ferienhaus und würden es weiter empfehlen. Grüße MW"
