Evenetually moved to a quality suite but forced to pay a hefty surcharge. Property management and Expedia were aware from day one. Property management pretended it was all make believe and that there was nothing wrong. Expedia stepped up big-time and credited me the preposterous surcharge imposed by the property. 「Depending on who you book through, there might be a substantial 'cleaning' deposit required. We were informed of the amount and that it had to be paid online while we were in transit. Luckily, we had a layover that allowed us to do this before arriving at the door. There were problems once we arrived that may have been beyond the control of the owners, such as a last minute requirement to put us in a different unit for one night, but these things can and do happen.
