"Great stay with swimming, fishing, day trips and the nicest of hosts. Beach 5 minutes on foot, boat rental just across the street and a great house to stay. The couple that takes care of the house were very welcoming and easy going."

"Easy to find and easy communication with the owner who did his best to help He gave us parcement paper when ee needed it for pizza, he allowed my daughter to sleep e us last night since she didnt manage to sleep well in the school with the team, we were there because of a tournament. The negative here was the cleaning, I feel like they should have cleaned better before we arrived, specially in the kitchen. The furniture and the general interior of the house could be improved and modernized....

"Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sofort abgebrochen und mussten uns ein Hotel suchen. Die Bilder der Ferienwohnung sind stark geschönt und entsprechen in keiner Weise der Realität. Es stinkt überall, die Möbel sind durchgesessen, die Kissen sind gelb verfärbt und die Bettdecken sind fleckig. Von außen blättert die Farbe großflächig ab. Die Umgebung erinnert eher an einen Industriehafen als an ein Urlaubsparadies. Direkt hinter dem Haus verläuft die Autobahn, die dann seitlich über eine große Brücke...

"Das Haus ist genau so, wie auf den Fotos! Tolle Lage und sehr schöne Einrichtung. Die Betten sind gemütlich. Das Badezimmer ist klein, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!"

"Dated facility. Clean room, comfortable bed, but no kettle in the room to make tea or coffee. It’s the first hotel we’ve stayed at in Norway that didn’t offer that. No mini frig in room. We asked about using their sauna, but were told it’s out of order indefinitely as when it’s turned on it sets off the fire alarm. We were very underwhelmed with the meals. Dinner was very bland with very limited choices. Breakfast wasn’t the best either. Several things set out to choose from in small dishes that were unidentifiable for us. Most hotels label the food choices so you know what it is. Nothing walkable from the hotel for other restaurant choices. I’d suggest finding another hotel instead of this one. "

"We enjoyed our one night stay at Scandic Hotel in Haugesund. Staff was very friendly and helpful! The room was as expected and bed comfortable. Room was quiet. Breakfast was excellent! Such a variety and many fresh options! The area of town was plain, and for some reason there are multiple Thai massage businesses nearby, but easy to walk to the waterside and main shopping street. Overall, would recommend for an economical and pleasant stay."
