Great Stay in Villa in Skiathos

Beautiful Villa in Skiathos, wonderful host, we had a great time! Definitely suggested if you want to have a huge Villa only for you in a quiet place, comfortable if you want to reach the city or any beach of the island!

Wonderful holiday

The house is beautiful, very spacious with all the comforts, I would say better than in the pictures. We had a small problem of leaking but Kostas solved it in few hours. The position is perfect to reach amazing beaches, a little less comfortable to reach the city center, but for our lifestyle with families was perfect.

The villa is ideally placed to enjoy the southern end of the island and is in a very quiet location surrounded by woodland. The villa was very clean and the facilities such as the air conditioning functioned really well. The road to the villa is uneven but if taken at slow speed is easily negotiable. WiFi was great, the kitchen had everything you need and bus stop 13 is at the end of the road so it is very easy to get into Skiathos town (only took approx. 15 minutes along the coast road) or if you go west to the other beaches then they are closer still and there are loads of excellent restaurants within an easy 5 minute drive. Kanapitsa beach is a joy too with a great bar & restaurant on the beach and it's only moments away (there's a great mini-market on the way there too). You do need a car though as the road to the villa once off the main road is steep.

Quiet retreat close to beaches

The house was really spacious with three big bedrooms (with A/C) and 2 small ones (with fans). It's located in a quiet and very private neighborhood. We found the kitchen well stocked for a family of 7. The property sits at the top of a pretty steep hill which can be reached within less than 10 minutes from the bus stop (#13). There are four nice beaches in easy walking distance (about 15 minutes) and a small super market near the bus stop. Costas (owner) always responded promptly to any questions we had and was super accommodating when we asked if our niece would be able to stay with us for a few days. He also arranged for Costas (manager) to meet us at the bus stop upon arrival to transport our luggage up the hill. We thought that was extremely thoughtful. Also, when the power went out during a storm, he was so helpful in resolving the problem. We had 3 main issues: 1. Two of the bedrooms didn't have A/C, which turned out to be quite challenging despite the fans that were placed in each of those rooms. 2. Most of the 6 bathrooms had tiny showers - one without a shower curtain. 3. There was only 1 house key and 1 remote for the gate. Since we were 7 adults, we often split up into couples/groups and did things independently. Juggling who gets to bring the key/remote proved at times a bit difficult which could have been avoided with a second set of both. Also, once the gate starts closing there is no stopping it, so be careful if you have little children or happen to park your car there. Despite these issues we really enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend it.

Ottima location

ottima accoglienza, la casa è stata al di sopra delle nostre aspettative sottolineo la pulizia gli spazi molto ampli e la tranquillità in quanto la casa è circondata dal bosco . Evidenzio inoltre l'estrema gentilezza e flessibilita' del proprietario Costas .

The house is very nice and located in a beatiful pines forest , very quite area but also close to all beaches and 15 minute drive from Skiathos centre . confortable nice terrace for breakfast and dinner and several rooms and bathrooms. Bathrooms and kitchen are quite good but dishwasher was missing , wifi connection was missing as well .I Recommended for relaxing holidays . Elisabetta
