Sister Bay Charmer

Our recent stay in Sister Bay was fantastic, thanks largely to our VRBO condo that surpassed expectations. The unit was fully equipped with all essentials, from a complete kitchen to cozy furnishings, creating a comfortable home base. Its charming décor added warmth and made us feel welcomed from the start.The first-floor location was a real plus for easy access and mobility, and direct access to the picturesque shoreline was a highlight—perfect for relaxing mornings and peaceful evenings just steps away. The condo’s setting, right next to a Sister Bay shuttle stop, made exploring the area incredibly convenient and stress-free.Perhaps one of our favorite features was having two excellent, yet very different, restaurants right next door. We frequented both: one offered a classic WI casual setting with classic comfort food ideal for leisurely lunches, while the other provided a sophisticated atmosphere with creative, locally inspired cuisine. This variety added so much enjoyment and convenience to our stay.Our host was exceptionally responsive and always available, enhancing our overall experience and peace of mind.Overall, this delightful condo made our time in Sister Bay truly memorable. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a charming, well-located, and thoughtfully managed place to stay in Door County.

Sister Bay Vacation

The property was awesome with spectacular sunrise & sunsets. The place was comfortable & had all the ammenities we needed for our stay. Kaye & Tom were available for any questions and offered several activities throughout our week. I would highly recommend this place.

Outstanding lake views and very quiet. This was the most relaxing stay I've had in a long time. The hosts/owners were very accommodating and made many great suggestions for food and fun in the area.

amazing Lake view

We had a wonderful 20 day stay in the lovely condo. The unit had everything we needed to cook and furnishings were comfortable. It was great having a full kitchen so we did not have to eat out every evening. The location to downtown Sister Bay allowed us to walk into town. The owners were very responsive when we contacted them with questions. But the highlight was the view from the 1st floor deck. Sunsets were spectacular! And I must say it was the quietest building we have ever stayed in. We would absolutely stay again!

Fall in Sister Bay

We loved the location on the water. The layout between garage and condo was a bit confusing, but we got used to it. The fireplace was a big plus on cool mornings. The yard between the condo and the water front was well maintained, and the lawn furniture very comfortable and inviting. Having a top-rated restaurant right next door -- the Waterfront Restaurant -- was a big plus. I would only recommend some written instructions on how to use the TV and its remote.

Vacation with friends

We very much enjoyed our stay. Being on the water was the best part. My husband and our friend fished almost every day. The condo was clean and roomy for 4 people. Plenty of towels and beds were comfy. It is close enough to the center of sister bay to walk to town. Kaye and Tom always answered questions right away and were so helpful. They gave great suggestions for dining and activities. I felt we became friends with only texting. And never meeting in person.would love to stay again in the future.

Wonderful Sister Bay condo

My sister and I enjoyed a 6 night stay at Kaye & Tom's condo . It is a very clean condo in a great location and quiet setting on the water. It has amazing views of the bay and was perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee. We ate most of our meals out but the kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need for meal prep. Kaye was a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive and had many excellent suggestions for activities to do and restaurants to enjoy. The sunsets were a highlight and were spectacular over the bay. Also enjoyed watching the boats in the bay. Thank you Kaye & Tom for sharing your beautiful property. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and hope to return in the future.

We had a wonderful time at Bolings place! The condo was very clean, and had great views of the water! The condo definitely has a homey feel! The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again!

Lovely condo in Sister Bay

We enjoyed our stay: great communication with property owners, excellent location, clean, super comfortable mattress and pillows, well-stocked linens, kitchen with everything, and access to laundry in building. Right on water. Beautiful views. Great restaurants in walking distance. Farm stand just up the road (Hidden Acres) with lovely produce. Kids had a blast fishing. We could easily run and bike from location. Highly recommend.

Awesome view

We stayed in this property for a week and had a great time. The condo is very comfortable and has EVERYTHING you could want or need. We didn't do any cooking there but the kitchen was stacked. The fridge had tons of condiments, and there was plenty of coffee and napkins and cups/glasses. The bathrooms had lotion and shampoo and plenty of TP. I have stayed in other rentals where we had to buy everything. This was so generous and so easy to hang out. The condo building is very quiet and it is right on the water. It is very close to restaurants in Sister Bay, and easy to get to everything. The hosts, Kaye and Tom, contacted us to be sure we were settled and had everything we needed. They also offered suggestions for activities. We would definitely stay here again if/when we visit in the future.

Sister Bay in June

The property and the view of the bay was even better in person. We had a chilly week during our stay and the fireplace was much needed. The condo is close to the Waterfront restaurant and a New Mexican restaurant that is not opened yet. It had everything that we needed and it was immaculately clean. It was the perfect size for our family of 3. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. Hope to return to this property again!

Excellent property location. All amenities were as advertised on the posting

Great location, clean and well suited for a party of 4. Only downside was having to enter the property through the garage vs the coded locked common entry doors - just an inconvenience not an issue. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - would highly recommend to others.

Wonderful! Great location, fabulous view. Clean, quiet, & comfortable. Kaye & Tom are gracious and helpful hosts. They left us flowers, cake & champagne to celebrate our anniversary! Highly recommend!

Beautiful Family Getaway

Great location, lovely view and very comfortable. Tom & Kaye were extremely accommodating and very easy to communicate with. They wanted to make sure everything went well with my trip; we need more people like Tom & Kaye in the world. I will miss my morning coffee on the patio with that view - it was a great start to many fun filled days in Door County! Their condo association has lovely grounds with many beautiful flowers, perfect for taking pictures.

Picture perfect view

Owners were a delight to work with , provided great info on fun things to do and see! The condo units are in a very nice , quiet complex. The unit was clean, comfy and the views were absolutely stunning. I had overlooked that there was no washer dryer ( although it was in the contract info) but after staying and enjoying the quiet area and beautiful view right on the shoreline of Lake Michigan -we would rent again with no hesitation !! Easy walk into Sister Bay was icing on the cake.

Private Escape

My elderly mother and I had a lovely stay. Quiet, relaxing and so peaceful. Perfect location close to town but also so private in the condo. My large SUV did not fit comfortably in the garage but street parking was close and easy. We would definitely love to come back!

A quiet holiday in Door County

What a lovely week away! Thank you to Kaye and Tom for allowing us to stay at their lovely waterfront Condo in Sister Bay! This was the perfect setting for us to get a way and recharge. The check in was flawless, the condo was spotless and location was wonderful. Nothing quite like the sound of Lake Michigan when the water is crashing against the shore. We would absolutely return to Kaye and Tom’s wonderful condo should the opportunity present itself. We highly recommend this unit if you are looking for quiet, and some really nice conveniences. The Waterfront Restaurant was literally just steps away. And wow! The Food was amazing! Thank you again Kaye and Tom for our lovely week away! Can’t thank you enough for sharing your home with us. Great Place in Sister Bay

Wonder place that is within a short walk/quick bicycle to downtown Sister Bay. 2 fun bars just down the street as well a high end restaurant. There is marina next door that is fun to watch the boats come and go. The owners were great to work with and quickly answered any questions. Was well stocked with all the essentials for short stay. Would recommend for a small group of 4 or family of 4. We did not have any issues with the neighbors as some noted, the few we met were nice or greeted with a simple wave.
