8/10 Very Good! (106 reviews)
We stayed at Hotel Visconti during a heat wave in Europe. The hotel is nice and clean, a little out dated but charming. The staff and breakfast are fantastic, the only real gripe I had is the air conditioning is basically useless, we bought a 10 euro handheld fan from a street vendor that was keeping us more cool than the air conditioning. The only other thing is the walk to public transportation, the busses seemed unreliable and the walk to the train station is about 16 minutes, however you walk through a cute little suburb in Melzo. Overall if it was a little cooler during our stay it would've been a great experience, just plan on the hotel being hot during the summer months though.

8.8/10 Excellent! (1,000 reviews)
"The hotel is in a super location on the lake, with stunning views. The hotel rooms are quite basic and dated. Carpets in hallways dirty and threadbare. Restaurant food was good, but service over our 5 day stay was incredibly disappointing and impersonal. We were constantly chasing staff for service, ..."
