Perfect Gila Getaway

WE loved our stay here, our room was perfect for exploring the Gila Cliff Dwellings, and birding at Lake Roberts. The gas fireplace made it so homey, and we had everything needed to cook nice meals. Very pleasant and relaxing.

Hidden Gem in the Gila

We absolutely love this place! The rooms are clean and well stocked with everything you need to be comfortable. The patio area is a great place to spend an evening with friends and family. The proximity to the lake is super close. Plus the the management and staff onsite are always friendly and eager to accommodate!

Great Stay

We and our friends absolutely loved the location. So beautiful with resident deer browsing the woods across the road. The cabins were set-up with just about everything we needed to be able to spend our 5 nights. There were lots of options for sitting outside. Really enjoyed the comfy patio chairs and the grills worked perfectly. Everything was neat and clean. The manager was very friendly and always happy to help us with anything we needed. Just a great place to stay and hope to be able to go back some day.

Fourth of July Stay

The room was clean and had everything we needed, and the caretaker was friendly and helpful. During the summer the mid day heat is too much without AC. A second large fan, or a window AC unit would be very helpful. Also, a screen door would be wonderful to have. I'd definitely stay here again during cooler months and appreciate the quiet area. The BBQ space was very helpful.and we did have a great time.

Comfy place in a sweet area

Very comfortable beds and everything we needed to make simple meals in the kitchen. Super quiet and clean. Wifi worked great. Although no cell service, we could make calls using What's App and do any other online activities as we wanted. Loved having the little grassy area for our doggies to play fetch and stretch their legs. The only down side was the high price -- otherwise would give 5 stars.

Overall Good

I wanted to rate 3.5 stars but half stars are not an option. I showed up on a Friday for a family reunion down the road. The room was clean and had many amenities. We did a little cooking ourselves which was nice being so far from town. The downside of the stay was that the room was very hot with no AC. It took way past bedtime to cool off. We wanted to sleep with the windows open, but the folks outside their rooms were loud well into the night. It was kinda pricey, but I guess when lodging is limited, thats what you get. Overall a nice stay. I would consider staying here again when the weather is cooler.

I had a great time staying at the Inn at Lake Roberts. They provided everything I needed and were very helpful and responsive when I asked for an item. The atmosphere was great, the cottage was quiet, and I hope to return.

Great getaway

We'd love spending time in the gila Forest and this Inn didn't disappoint. The only thing I had a problem with was that the internal gas stove didn't work. It look like it didn't have any gas so we ended up having to make breakfast in my own Blackstone grill by The pavilion.

We had such a great time at your motel! We were able to bring our pet and that was very important to us! The place was nicely decorated and very clean and comfortable. Other family members stayed in a different room down the way so we were really glad there was rooms for all our family! We loved that it was so close to the lake as we came up for the free fishing weekend! We will be coming back for sure!

Quiet Getaway in Gila

Although our hosts were not on site, we received timely and relevant information on the check in and out process. The proximity to Lake Roberts makes this a great base camp for enjoying the outdoor beauty of Gila National Forest.

Absolutely Perfect

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at the Inn at Lake Roberts. Location: We were about 30 minutes from the Gila Visitor's Center and Cliff Dwellings site. That was the main reason for the visit but enjoyed so much more hiking on other trails nearby in the Gila National Forest. We were sent a "welcome" email (visitors guide) that listed nearby places to get any necessities and distances to those places so we came prepared and stayed as local as possible with exception of one trip to Silver City for pizza (Forrest's Pizza) it was well worth the trip! Check-in: Mobile check in (via text confirmation) with simple instructions on accessing the cabin. Very simple and easy. Cleanliness: Cabin was spotless, tidy, and everything was in well working order. There was also a welcome book that had great information. The cabin was roomy, had everything we needed and more. Although we spent very little time there (mostly out in the forest), the time that was spent there we felt comfortable, safe, and "at home". We are already planning our next trip to Gila National Forrest and will definitely plan on staying at the Inn at Lake Roberts. Thank you very much to Lauren, Rayne, and the Wild Gila Hospitality Team!!!
