"The house is very spacious and has plenty of room for a big group. It was nicely furnished with comfortable beds. Unfortunately, the cleaning crew didn’t do a thorough job. The linens were changed and bathroom was mostly cleaned but the kitchen needed help. I would also suggest having something, like a binder, that gives guests information about the area and things to do; emergency info; instructions for checking out, etc. The house met our needs for our group but it is really bare bones. "

"We had such a great time while we stayed here. The children ages 9 and 12 loved the animal interactions, fishing, and taking out the boat. The location is close to everything while still feeling like you are away from busy areas. We absolutely loved the house!!! And we adore Emma!!!(Dog) Just an all around amazing stay. Highland Comfort - Private Peaceful Retreat

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed 2 nights and had a great time visiting family in the Southern Village area. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood with a large yard and huge trees. It was a perfect place to stay with 5 adults and 2 young children since there are 4 bedrooms. The house was well maintained and clean and there were some toys for the young kids to play with. It was incredibly hot and humid in NC, but the AC was able to keep the house cool which was a huge plus. We would definitely stay here again. As a side note, Anna was also gracious enough to mail us some electronics that we accidentally left at the house."

"The staff were absolutely wonderful. We had an issue with our door not latching, so we couldn't leave our room. The lady at the desk was so nice and went and attempted to help us with it. No e of us were able to make it function, so she gladly made arrangements to find us another room we could stay in for the night! Both rooms we were in were spotless!! All linens were perfect, beds were great, floors were spotless, fridge, microwave, etc. I will stay here again. The outside was very clean as well and the breakfast area was good as well. "

"We had a great weekend stay at this cozy house in the woods. It was very peaceful and quiet, but not far from UNC (10-15min drive). Our minivan was able to handle the gravel driveway. The house and 3 bedrooms had plenty of space, and the gathering areas were the perfect size with enough seating for everyone. There is even a fenced in backyard if you bring dogs. No hand towels were placed out when we arrived, but we were able to get some from the closet. No toiletry items such a shampoo or conditioner either but we had brought our own. Veva, the host, was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again with my family! "

"Very clean, stocked very well and extremely pet friendly. Our fur baby loved the fenced in yard, He never gets to be off leash even at home. Manager was very responsive and flexible. We look forward to visiting again soon."

"The cabin was perfect for my 5 year old daughter and I to spend a few days. There is a grill and kitchenette (no stove/oven) but that's fine for short stays or if you plan to eat out most days. Clean, comfortable and exactly as described. The hosts were amazing - friendly, helpful, easy to reach. Highly recommend this for your next getaway."
