Here you’ll find a spacious cabin in Ål with timeless architecture, designed by Lund and Slaatto over 50 years ago. The cabin is situated right next to the vast Eggedalsfjellet mountain range, which connects to Norefjell, offering sweeping views of Gaustadtoppen, Hardangervidda, and other mountain ranges to the south, west, and north.
Inside, there is plenty of space for both gathering and retreating. The main cabin features a living room with a glass fireplace, while the annex provides extra space and privacy. The spacious bedrooms ensure that everyone has their own place to relax.
Outside, a sunny terrace with outdoor furniture and a fire pit awaits, perfect for evenings under the open sky. There is a covered dining area with sweeping views. The property offers plenty of space to enjoy the mountain views and the fresh mountain air.
The area offers marked trails in easy mountain terrain, but you can also explore on your own off the trails. There is a network of ski trails/paths, easy to navigate in all seasons. In winter, you can ski right out the door.
Eggedalsfjellet is a large wilderness area with rich wildlife, including a reindeer herd that must not be disturbed. You can pick cloudberries, blueberries, and lingonberries on summer and fall hikes.
