Awesome views of the Huachuca Mountains, seasonal waterfall and lots of wildlife. 2 miles from historic Brown Canyon Ranch. 3 miles from Ramsey Canyon Preserve( humming bird capital of the world ). Bordering the Cochise Vista & Newman trails. 21 miles to Bisbee or Tombstone, 35-40 minute drive to Kartchner Caverns State Park or Sonoita( Az wine country).

Family Vacation
Our family of six stayed here in June, and the house was perfect. It was extremely hot out, but the house was very cool, very clean, and spacious. The host was communicative and very pleasant. We got to hike in Ramsey Canyon, which is right down the road from this property. If we ever visited the area again, I would stay here again.

Lovely spacious house
The house was very clean, spacious, and quiet and had a nice well-stocked kitchen. Owner was very responsive. We are birders and enjoyed several good “yard birds” and proximity to Ramsey Canyon. A great choice for your stay.

This property was a perfect choice to stay to enjoy world class birding not only in Ramsey Canyon but a number of other near by locations. The home was very clean and provided all the amenities to make our stay very comfortable.

Great location for birding!
Very clean and well organized. Very responsive owner. The location was great for sitting outside and observing the birds. The beds were probably the best we've ever encountered. There could be a couple of more comfortable chairs (but that may just reflect the fact that we're not spring chickens!). We are looking forward to another visit.

Marvelous Stay!
This home is beautifully situated right behind Ramsey Canyon but close enough to Sierra Vista town center for all the conveniences. It is perfectly central to all the events we chose (tombstone, kartchner caverns and Elgin wineries). The fire pit in the back yard made for a bit of evening enjoyment under the gorgeous starry sky. Large home with lots of room. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The beds are comfortable though a bit firm. Ample amount of pillows. The living room couch is very comfortable. We also took advantage of the pool table and played several games. You can’t go wrong with this home.

Beautiful, serene comfort within minutes of great destinations
This beautiful home was perfectly located to acces Ramsey Canyon Nature Preserve, historic Old Bisbee, the Folklore Museum, Tombstone, the San Pedro river valley and more. It's nestled into the Huachucas in such a way I was able to watch the moon trek acroos the sky while listening to distant coyotes. I saw a variety of birds from the backyard that were delughtful, though the mourning doves particularly made me feel right back at home. A good kitchen is important for me as I must prepare much of my own food and I found the kitchen well- equipped and the general store had plenty of essentials. Be sure to check for spices to the right of the microwave. The check in and check out directions are clear and easy, making this trip free from ectra stress.
