The Capanna villa was beautiful - each room had its own bathroom. The house is spacious and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. We wish we could have stayed longer. As the description noted, the villa is at the end of a dirt road so be prepared to go slow. The only input I would share with the owners is that the property signage for the villas could be expanded and listed to clearly assist at every turn.

A magical week in the heart of Tuscany. Only 20 min. from Siena, but a world away in terms of quiet, solitude and ambience. We had a cooking class referred to us by the host with a fabulous chef (who had worked in a Michelin starred restaurant in his past), and it was fantastic. Sitting outside in mid-70s weather at a formally set table with the freshest pasta dishes and wonderful estate wine with some our closest friends was a dream come true. All communications withe the host were prompt and efficient, and answered all our questions and information requests.We've traveled extensively through Europe over the last decade and can truly say this was the best stay of all. A 6 out of 5.

Vastly exceeded expectations. A little tough to find initially but the seclusion is a plus. Lorenzo was great on the winery tour and Robin’s breakfasts were perfect. Highly recommend.

Great Location

Great location outside of Siena with a pool. Pool is a long walk from the house and is shared with other houses but doable. No air conditioning and only one window per room meant upstairs was warm. They had floor fans in each room, but it still got fairly warm in the evening. Washing machine and stove took some instructions to use as they are different than appliances in the US. Maybe include how to use them in the guidebook that was provided. Overall the hosts were very nice and accommodating. It is a stone road to get to the property.

Amazing!

Absolutely wonderful. Lavinia was wonderful, available and accommodating. Felt like family be the time we left. Beautiful vistas. Property well kept and well stocked. We did a chef prepared meal during our stay which was also great.

Great for Family

The home was unique and in a beautiful setting. The views of the rolling hills and Siena were stunning- especially at sunset. There was a slight hiccup with the washing machine, but it was quickly rectified by the owners. They actually did our laundry until a new machine could be installed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lovely property.

Wonderful stay

We had such a nice stay here. The host, Lavinia, could not have been more welcoming and healthy, and the activities and restaurants she recommended were perfect. The beauty of the countryside was the perfect. I’d definitely love to return.

Onverwacht pareltje

De villa is gelegen op een wijngaard (druiven en olijven). Werklijk waar een sprookje, zo mooi. Heel veel privacy, je hoort alleen de krekels en vogels. Fijn zwembad en fantastisch vriendelijke familie. En Siena zie je vanuit je villa liggen. Je waant je in een Toscaans filmdecor. Kortom genoten en absoluut een aanrader!

Lovely Tuscan vineyard

We had a wonderful stay at this vineyard. Lavinia and her team welcomed us and made us feel at home. It was quite hot while we were there, but there were plenty of fans to keep us cool, and the pool was a god send! The vineyard is only 15 outside of Siena, so very convenient to reach all the Tuscan hill towns. We had a wonderful time!

Calme et beauté

Nous avons loger à 4 adultes à Capanna pendant 10 jrs début juin 2022 dans un environnement magnifique au calme. L'accueil chaleureux de la famille, sa discretion et son efficacité pour répondre à nos besoins, la belle piscine, les produits de la propriété, les belles promenades dans les environs de Sienne nous donnent envie d'y retourner avec la famille élargie car il y a d'autres maisons pleines de charme si nous devions être plus nombreux. Fabulous Villa and Owner

The villa was perfect with a view that we loved to wake up to each morning. Staying in a working vineyard was peaceful and stunning. It also had the best wine of anywhere we tasted during our week in Tuscany. Lavinia could not have been nicer or more helpful. Highly recommend the in-house chef as well.

Perfect in every way!

We absolutely loved our stay at Capanna!! Our host Lavinia is a true joy - she was so warm and welcoming. The villa was perfect - spacious, graciously appointed and the kitchen was outstanding. Large and comfortable enough for my DIL and I to cook several meals together - well appointed with all things needed to make lovely meals. By all means, book an olive oil and wine tasting - what fun! We got a tour of the vineyard and the pressing process then settled into the tasting on the patio. Absolutely delicious wine and olive oil - we brought lots to bring back because we must extend the beautiful flavor of Tenuta Larnianone as long as possible. We will definitely be back!

Toskana wie aus dem Bilderbuch

Die Ferienwohnungen in typischen Landhäusern sind weitläufig verteilt auf einem großen Gut mit eigener hervorragender Olivenöl- und Weinproduktion. Der kleine Spaziergang zum gepflegten Pool ist in dieser herrlichen Landschaft überhaupt kein Problem. Überhaupt die Umgebung: Vom Freisitz vor unserem Haus hatten wir einen traumhaften Blick in die Bilderbuchlandschaft um Siena. Die Vermieter sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung war mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht - es fehlte an nichts. Das beste aber ist die Lage: man wohnt absolut ruhig und doch nur wenige Autominuten vom wundervollen Siena mit guter Anbindung zu anderen Highlights entfernt. Kurzum: Wir waren sehr, sehr gerne hier und können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen! Vielen Dank!

Ein toskanischer Traum

Wir wren mit 4 Kindern zwei Wochen Gäste in Tenuta Larnianone und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Etwa 15min außerhalb von Siena bitet das Anwesen aus mehreren auseinanderliegenden Ferienhäusern alles, was es für Entspannung und Natur-Augenschmaus braucht. Unser Haus war historisch-rustikal und gemütlich ausgestattet mit allem was es braucht. Im Gemeinschaftspool waren wir trotz Hochsaison meist allein und haben den Ausblick vom Beckenrand genießen können. Toskana wie aus dem Bilderbuch und mit Lorenzo und seinen Eltern hatten wir sehr nette Gastgeber. Lorenzo hat uns auch in die Geheimnisse des Weinanbaus eingeweiht. Der Chianti war grandios :-) Spannende Tagestouren nach Pisa, Florenz und vor allem Arazzo lohnen sich. San Gimignano ist ein MUSS! Und zum Shoppen à la USA gibt es relativ nah das tolle Valdichiana Outlet Village. Also: Alles super, fünf Sterne. Grazie & Liebe Grüße nach Siena

Peaceful Tuscan beauty

We stayed in the property for four nights. It was exactly what we thought it would be. The owners are so warm and make it feel as though you are staying with family. They are very nice people.
