the location was a distance from the main city centre, but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel which was very convenient. The helpful lady at the reception desk gave me information on the bus to take to the city centre as well as to Samal bus station for Turkistan. Thank you. Breakfast spread was good. the room very spacious and although i didn't get a nice view, the bed was the most comfortable i had slept on on this trip. will definitely stay here again if i am in Shymkent.

Location is quite a distance from the city centre but there is a bus stop just outside the hotel. Room is very spacious, nicely decorated in soft earthy colours. The comfiest bed i have slept in!

It was a cool experience to visit Ramada in Shymkent. The staff was helpful, the room was clean. Due to olur check out time, they even prepared a breakfast for us on our way to go. Thank you for everything.

Upon arriving they didn't have our booking. Eventually it was found. Receptionist sent us to a regular room, not the Executive Suite we booked. So back again to get that fixed.
Got the exec suite... Cupboards not fixed to walls. Steam room had no instructions.
We had booked for 4 people. Then only one bed in the suite. We had to pay extra 16000 KZT for rollaway beds.
Breakfast was average, coffee bitter.
Restaurant for dinner was high quality with pleasant staff. Very nice Georgian and Russian food.

The hotel is very well designed and had a pleasure to stay, only the breakfast hall design was not seem old. The room is very modern and comfortable. I would stay again during my Shymkent visit.

The hotel and the room was beautiful. After a full day of travel a nice shower sounded amazing, we were immediately disappointed the shower was broken and spraying water out the valve. The greater disappointment about the stay came when we were woken up at 4:40am by a guest that entered our room with his card. Laying there naked and startled by a man shouting at us made it impossible to sleep easy any other nights we were there. We later found out that every key card was programmed as a master card and you can enter any room you wanted. We contacted the hotel manager and he apologized but did nothing to fix the problem or compensate the interrupted night. He said it was an issue with his system. Later that evening the hotel sent fruit and 6 macaroons… as if that was an appropriate apology. When we called hotels.com they stated that they can’t do anything about it. When we checked out we we spoke with the hotel manager one more time and he was still less than apologetic. I would definitely choose a different hotel if you are traveling to Shymkent.
