"This is supposed to be a high end hotel but they need to improve on the details, Asked for a late check out at 11.30 and got a 11.15 answer??, paid $40 for valet and they game a another car and had to figure out where mine was, got a coffee and they have run out of lids, reserved a regular room and got a accessible room and no one told me at check in. Just details but when you are paying big bucks you expect something different."

"LOVED this gem of a hotel. The landscaping is lush and exquisite and the room was bright, fresh, and clean. We were surprised to have a full kitchen which was also very stylish (white/ grey marble) and fully equipped. I’m not sure all of the rooms have kitchens. Easy parking, and the breakfast was quite nice with fresh pastries, etc. "

"The description of the La Playa Inn on Expedia was different from the reality. We booked for 4 people. The room was very small. Two beds was tiny. TV was tiny, no balcony. You can not see the ocean from the property. There were many other Places around that looked nicer."

"We only stayed one night so we did not use many of the hotel's amenities. The staff were not very eager to offer information. The furniture in the room was old but functionable. We upgraded to an ocean view but could barely see the ocean from our room. The hot water faucet in the bathroom was broken. The room was large and comfortable. We had a nice big patio. The hotel is in a great location across the street from the pier "
