The hotel personnel were very helpful and kind, they even helped me to buy a ticket to Cairo. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained, by the beach and the area has lots of supermarkets and restaurants.
The breakfast buffet was ok for being in Egypt, but it can improve a bit.

The hotel is in good location. Shops are walking distance. The hotel looks very run down and needs of modernisation. The toilet needs updating, flash keeps breaking down. The hotel does not meet 4 star hotel, it's more like a 3 star hotel. Staff was friendly but they need to have professional boundaries with hotel guests.
The hotel was very nice. Some employees need more training. Other than that everything is fine. I salute very much Mohamed mokadem in the main restaurant, diligent in his hospitality. Like that person, I hope the rest of the employees learn the art of hospitality from him.thanks alot mr. Hamdy and Ahmed in frontdesk
The best thing about this hotel was the hot power shower. Thank goodness for it after a sleepless night due to the bar next door having an outside party from 11.30pm - 4am.
This party happens EVERY TUESDAY AND FRIDAY. You have to be able to sleep with this noise because there is zero soundproofing.
The bed was fine and room size fine.
Annoyingly the plug point I plugged my phone charger in was faulty and didn’t work. I found out my phone hadn’t charged I was leaving.
The worst part was a very argumentative Karam on reception.
He was curt at check in and gave me almost no information apart from telling me I was all-inclusive and gave me WiFi pass that would only work in public areas (it didn’t even). At checkout I told him about the good shower, all night party and i also mentioned I’d not had any food despite being all-inclusive. I hadn’t found the restaurant and when he checked me in he hadn’t given me any information about restaurants/times/ meals/pool/towels etc etc.
He told me he gave me an envelope with this information- he did not. He only gave me WiFi- not an envelope with information.
But he argued and argued, could not see any error and as I had already checked out I left.
Karam has worked there for 16 years he told me and he was the weakest link of all…
This is listed as a 4 out of 5 star property. Shouldn’t be. Very tired property.
The main reason for the 1 star, though, is the staff. Just trying to shake us for money the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Examples: a taxi from there to the airport is 15 minutes. They wanted $27 for that. Without blinking an eye. Ridiculous. I paid that to go from Dahab to Sharm El Sheikh which is 1h20m drive. or, as I was checking in and turned to the counter to show my passport, a dude from the hotel had grabbed my bag and walked off with it. Luckily I saw him. Last example: after we had checked out a guy from the hotel ran after us and wanted us to sign for some kind of order.
But the property is tired too: A/C in the room barely worked. Safe was so small it didn’t even hold a laptop. Shower drain was so clogged up that the entire bathroom floor would be flooded when taking a quick shower. The shower did have a lot of pressure.

Das Hotel besticht durch seine direkte Lage am Meer und bietet somit idealen Zugang für Strandliebhaber. Allerdings wird die Nachtruhe durch die nahegelegene Bar, die bis Mitternacht lautstarke Partys veranstaltet, erheblich gestört.
Die Größe des Zimmers ist angemessen, allerdings sind die Duschräume sehr klein. Die Aussicht auf das Meer ist zwar ein Pluspunkt, jedoch wird dieser durch den Lärm von der gegenüberliegenden Bar stark beeinträchtigt.
Es ist überraschend und enttäuschend, dass das Personal an der Rezeption kaum Englisch spricht, was die Kommunikation erschwert.
Das Restaurant ähnelt mehr einer Studentenkantine als einem Hotelrestaurant, mit sehr begrenzter und täglich gleicher Auswahl an Speisen. Für Gäste, die auf der Suche nach kulinarischer Qualität sind, bietet dieses Hotel leider keine zufriedenstellende Lösung. Zusätzlich müssen Abendgetränke bei Halbpension separat bezahlt werden.
Fazit:
Das Lido Sharm Hotel könnte für Reisende geeignet sein, die unkomplizierten Zugang zum Strand priorisieren und wenig Wert auf kulinarische Erlebnisse oder umfangreichen Service legen. Wer jedoch Wert auf komfortable Zimmer, vielfältige Gastronomie und effizienten Service legt, sollte sich möglicherweise nach Alternativen umsehen.

Bon service de la part du personnel qui nous as permis de laissé nos bagages et d'utiliser leurs installation une journée avant notre réservation. La vue sur la terrasse et à partir de la chambre est de toute beauté. Malheureusement nous avons eu de grandes difficulté à dormir puisque l'hôtel voisin avait installé un scène discothèque juste à côté de notre chambre et le vacarme étai intense. L'hôtel se trouve loin de la route principal et les taxis/minivan pour expédition cherche à éviter de s'y rendre.
This hotel is beautiful and reasonably priced! I loved the vibe and decor. The pool was nice, the beach is shallow and had lots of schools of fish. There is a nice reef for snorkeling.
If there were zero stars as a rating that is what I would have given to Lido hotel at Sharm El Sheikh. Although my expectations were set low , this hotel did manage to disappoint me further on all aspects.
- Accommodations: I have purchased 6 day beach front suite which was very outdated, and needed many renovations. The furniture was very old and dirty, full of awful stains. The bed was very hard and the pillows were smelly. First night the air conditioning was not working .The curtains were coming out of their tracks. Other than the entertaining but useless towel sculptures the house keeping needs to be vastly improved, all furniture updated.
- Breakfast: awful, awful. Coffee machine was broken and the breads were stale and of very poor quality. The egg bar was ok , but nothing special to write about. The variety was minimal. They even ran out of strawberry jam.
- Customer Service : This one tops the list . Starting from the reception, the personnel were very unhelpful and rude. During a dispute about second guest in the suite, they treated us with disrespect, creating a full-on confrontation, raising their voices in front of other guests. We ended up in the tourism police to resolve the dispute.
Although we did not stay in the hotel for any reason other than to sleep and have breakfast during our diving vacation, they managed to ruin our visit with extremely rude behaviour . Do not stay in this hotel
Nous n'étions qu'une quinzaine de clients lors de mon séjour du 2 au 16 mars. Le personnel était aux petits soins. Par contre, la nourriture était très répétitive, toujours les mêmes légumes vapeur (carottes, chou-fleur, brocolis et courgettes).
La chambre toujours agrémentée de motifs sur le lit composés de linges de salle de bain blancs et de piscine beiges. Magnifique

Insgesamt sehr gut, jedoch ist das Hotel schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.
La ubicación es buena , la admosfera del hotel es muy relajante. No es hotel para europeos. El concepto servicio no existe. La comida es horrible por su elaboración. El WiFi no tiene nombre osea no existe. El mantenimiento no existe al igual que el protocolo Covid.

That property is a nightmare. Partying at midnight from 12am-3am. When you complain, they justify they have a permit from the ministry of tourism.
Tolles Hotel etwas veraltet, das Zimmer mit Seeblick ist ruhiger als andere. Die Musik an der Bar viel zu laut bis spät nach Mitternacht. Das Essen schlicht, nicht zu große Auswahl aber lecker und gutes Niveau. Für uns war das ein schönes Hotel, was wir nächstes Mal noch mal buchen würden.
Находиться в конце пешеходной улицы, такси туда не ходит, идти около 1км. Либо отельный трансфер.
