  • Thanks for viewing our home. We have been renting this house on VRBO since 2020. Our property has been a 5-Star and Premier Host rating since the start.

    This is a great small house located nested in the woods in one of Seward's quaint neighborhoods. Nice large lot for extra parking. House is located on Stoney Creek Avenue right when you come into town. The house is extremely cozy and the kitchen supplies are plentiful. We have a cat that lives on the property. Garage only

Fantastic place to stay… recommend it highly for anyone with a car who wants to be near Seward, but in a quiet residential area. The place was really well stocked, the house in excellent condition, clean, and beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful three night stay!

We had an amazing stay. The quiet 2 bedroom cottage was very clean and totally what we expected. The area was super quiet and just a few miles from the action. We will recommend to anyone coming to the area.

Extremely pleased with our rental from Val. But what made our short stay in Seward so enjoyable was Val's recommendation to have Jody with Alaskan Culinary Experience come to the house and cook the most scrumptious Alaska Halibut meal that we have ever experienced. It really set the tone for an enjoyable week in Alaska.

Great stay near Seward

We had a wonderful stay here. The house is very clean and the kitchen is well-supplied. We loved the location. It’s a great location that feels secluded but is an easy drive in and out of Seward.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was spacious, and the hosts provided everything we needed for our short stay (soaps, paper towels, etc.). The sofa was very comfortable, and while my wife and I slept great on the fairly firm mattress of the main room, her brother found the mattress on the second bed too firm. We cooked two dinners in the full kitchen and found everything we needed. The hosts provide lots of TV channels, so if the weather is bad then you have that. If the weather is good, there is a great little fire pit out back that we enjoyed one night. The house is a short drive to Seward, about 12 minutes drive to the Safeway and a little less to the turnoff to Exit Glacier. A couple things to note: there is no dinner table, so you'll either eat at a breakfast bar or the sofa. The host provides foldable tables for eating at the sofa. Also, the second bedroom is only slightly wider than the bed that's in it. So, it's really suited more for a single person with a small bag than a couple with luggage.

Location was great.

The cabin was so cozy and warm after a cold day out fishing. I loved the location. It was private but close to Seward.

Val was such a great responsive host. She also was very flexible with our arrival and departure. The small house is very quiet and worked great for our party of 4. Just a short drive to downtown Seward. Wouid stay there again for sure!

Just what we wanted

This property was in a location we wanted to be at. We didn’t hang out in the house too much as we were there to see family and be on the hiking trails. It was just what we needed between visits and outdoor activities. Perfect location for us.
