Este barrio alberga la catedral gótica de Sevilla, desde cuya Giralda se puede disfrutar de vistas panorámicas, y el Real Alcázar, un palacio de estilo mudéjar-renacentista rodeado de exuberantes jardines. En las estrechas callejuelas del barrio judío y en las plazas llenas de naranjos hay bastantes tiendas de recuerdos, artesanía y cerámica. Es un barrio libre de tráfico y de humos.
