"The Malakai is essentially brand new, beautifully designed, tastefully decorated and kept in impeccable condition by the staff. I cannot say enough good things about the people that work there – led by Alex at the front desk and his team, they were very polite, overly attentive to all my needs and they provided superior service. "Overpriced substandard facilities. Freezing cold bedroom. Ugly architecture, dark and dingy. Dirty dark and cold bathroom. Window stained with dead bugs and dust. No heaters to compensate. Very depressing. No hot water. We were forced to to ask them to boil water and put it into buckets in order to wash ourselves by using an empty margarine container. Unheard of when we have paid £900 to be in this tacky facility worthy of a YMCA student accommodation Location of the property is very bad....
