"This so called villa was dirty , not well kept. No air conditioning. The property was dangerous to drive to. It was out of the way and near a heli port. The location noted on Expedia of Platis Yialos was not accurate. It was no where near it. The villa requested we wire transfer the funds to hold the property months before so there would be no recourse. We left and found rooms elsewhere. Terrible. Lost out deposit of 130o. Euros. The villa requested about 3000 euros for five days...

"Amazing location, a 3 minute walk to the port, car rental, and grocery store! The apartment is stunning and fully furnished with AC. The owners, Maria and Ilios are super friendly and accommodating. They left us some fresh bread, jam, coffee, and chocolates for our arrival! If you are ever in Sifnos, make sure to stay here!"

One bathroom (small) was a bit of a challenge and the smallest room has no window, closet, etc. Location is good with good, local restaurants within walking distance, but the hike up/down the hill is steep(ish) if you don't rent a car. "The was a residence not a hotel. The location is off the beaten path but the owners made it easy to find it by meeting us at a crossroad, after that it was easy to find. The location offered a breathtaking view of Platis Gialos bay and beach and was withing minutes of the beach. It was also 10 minutes from the biggest town on Sifnos (Appolonia). "It is amazing to find such a calm and beautiful house with breathtaking views in the middle of summer. The house is very well equiped and the host was very welcoming and helpful. The small beach just below the house was lovely and almost private! Crystal clear waters and two comfortable chaise longues waiting for us :-) Reaching the house from Petra took a bit longer but the dirt road was much wider and relatively easy to drive. We had a great stay and we hope to come back soon! "
