料金に合わない質で、清潔なにかけていた
あまり清潔感がなく、トルコに滞在中7件のホテルに宿泊しましたが、1番よくなかったです。しかも、宿泊料とサービス料がほぼ一緒で後で気がついてびっくりしました。

Hotel Kalehan exceeded my expectations! This charming hotel is the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. A beautiful cascade of purple bouganveilla framed the window of my room! And it overlooked a tree-shaded courtyard perfect for reading or a cocktail and conversation. The staff--from reception, bellhop, chef and hotel owner--offered exceptional service. Delicious dinner and breakfast. My room was charmingly decorated and the bed was super comfy. Don't miss this wonderful hotel!

Ailecek gittik, Otantik ortamı çok hoşumuza gitti. Misafirperver yaklaşımlarından dolayı başta otel sahibi Ayşe Hanım olmak üzere , Abidin bey ve tüm personele teşekkür ederim. Odalar temiz ve geniş, bahçe yemyeşil çok güzel, ilgi alaka mükemmeldi,,yemekler 💯. We loved the tranquil setting with a beautiful garden (including tortoise) and swimming pool. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and included local dishes. The best part was the friendly informative staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief visit and would have liked to have stayed longer.

Maravilhoso!
Se eu soubesse que este Hotel era puro charme, teria dado um jeito de ficar pelo menos mais um dia. Ele é super fofo, tem uma decoração aconchegante, o serviço é ótimo, o quarto é de um tamanho bom e os jardins são maravilhosos! A comida é nota 10! As músicas tocadas na hora das refeições são perfeitas, dando uma sensação de paz.. Super recomendo!

Peaceful oasis in city
Lovely hotel, with good room for three people, very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are in a separate courtyard from the main hotel. with a wonderful garden and beautiful pool .Some of the information in description was inaccurate - one bedroom instead two, and no free water but not a major problem . Food was very good though, both for breakfast and dinner .

Bahçedeki Selçuk binasında kaldık. Efes,Şirince,Magnesia gezmek için çok ideal konumda. Otel sahibi hanımefendi çok kibar ve ilgili, çok iyi tavsiyeler de verdi gezilecek yerler için.Abidin bey çok güzel, doyurucu kahvaltılar ve yemekler hazırladı ve ilgilendi. Otelin dekorasyonu (izmir’in eski rum evlerinden derlenmiş) ve mimari yapısı çok otantik bahçesi huzur dolu, havuzu kullanılıyor, kocaman bir kaplumbağ ailesi var bahçede, Selçuk’daki en yeşil otel. Oda her gün temizlendi. Sessiz huzur dolu temiz ve ilgili bir otel. Merkeze, müze ve kliseye yürüme mesafesinde. Selçuk binasındaki odalarda kalmanızı öneririm.

Hotel Kalehan is special for many reasons. It feels like you have been invited to a personal family estate. The main lobby is filled with family collections: keys, antique gun collection, handmade wedding dress from the 1800's, old family photographs. The grounds are lush and bursting with vegetation including pomegranate trees. Sitting in the shady garden or relaxing in the pool after the heat of Ephesus feels especially welcome. But more importantly, the staff are so incredibly helpful. Before our arrival, the owner, via email, helped me to understand a complicated train connection we needed to make. She communicated back and forth with me several times to help me out. Then upon our arrival, the main cook/porter was so helpful with information and in creating wonderful breakfasts. However, the really amazing thing was the morning we left. The train station was not too far and my husband and I were prepared to walk. However, the manager insisted on driving us and making sure that we were able to get our tickets without any problem. Well, it was a good thing he did! It turns out that due to Covid, you couldn't just buy a ticket. Each ticket had to be connected to a HES number and this was done through a Mobile App in Turkish that we didn't have. We would have been completely stuck if he hadn't come with us. I tried to pay the 14 TL with a 50 TL bill. The machine would not accept such a big bill and the manager insisted on paying for us with his OWN MONEY!

Son anda bir başka otelden kaçarak geldiğimiz bir oteldi Kalehan. Bir otelden ne kadar memnun kalınırsa o kadar memnun olduk. İki arkadaş olarak geldiğimiz otelde her şey çok iyiydi. 24 saat resepsiyon hizmeti, odaların konforu, temizliği her şeyi çok iyiydi. Bir daha Selçuk'a geldiğimizde kesinlikle başka bir oteli tercih etmeyiz. Güleryüzün bir an bile eksik olmadığı güzel bir deneyim yaşadım, herkese tavsiye ederim.

A unique hotel
This hotel opened its doors about 35 years ago and I have stayed here many times since. It's not the most luxurious hotel but it offers an opportunity to step back into the past, a time when hotels were much more a part of their environment. The grounds and lobby are decorated with items that entertain and take you back to an earlier age. The rooms are entirely adequate, the staff is welcoming, friendly and always helpful and the breakfast is great.

Overall we were quite disappointed with this hotel as we definitely did not get what we paid for. We paid an average of $130 AUD per night about 550 turkish lira and were expecting a much better service and quality. breakfast was very average tea and coffee were served in thermos jugs the cheese was half melted due to heat with no cooler or ice to keep it cool bread was never fresh and was dry etc. we have stayed in hotels of a simular type for much cheaper and much better quility of service and food. The only person that was really friendly was the chef and was probably the only reason we didnt give this place a complete fail. Also Even though it is close to the main area of selcuk and close to transport eg buses train etc the locals said that it is considered the dirty and no go zone of selcuk so other travellers with kids and families beware. Personally we felt very uncomfortable walking down and up the streets to get to restaurants or the markets. It is a authentic place but you definitely dont get the service and standard you pay for.

Dear Vicky, Thank You for your review. I am sorry that you were not satisfied with our hotel.You were probably misinformed about the area of our hotel which is one of the safest in Selcuk. I myself as the woman owner of the hotel since 40 years, have not seen any criminality and am happy to walk or bike to town centre any time of the night. Most of our guests walk to centre (which is max 10 minutes walk) at nighttime and we haven't heard a single complaint. Hotel is centrally located below the castle on the main road, surrounded by residential houses and other hotels. The area is full of shops and supermarkets some open for 24 hours. People sit outside chatting, children playing outside till late in the summer nights, There is a kindergarten just behind and a large playground and a park for children. There has been no criminal reports in the area. It is very unfortunate to incuse the area as a no go zone which does not reflect the truth. It is also a big injustice to the town of Selcuk itself and a big accusation when you say 'kids and families beware' when there is no single incident or harassment at all. We are always praised with our service and the decoration, atmosphere of the hotel reflecting our family history, with which we are very proud of. Pls note that you have stayed in our property in August plus during the Turkish Holiday time(Bayram) which is the highest season throughout the whole year for Turkey. Our prices were lower before and after that peak time. But naturally our prices were the highest of the year during this time. So the comparison cannot be considered relevant. Kind Regards

We had a large and funky room with a bathroom that could do with being upgraded and some challenges with noise from the neighbors. We enjoyed the pool and outside spaces. Great atmosphere and a very good breakfast!

Cozy and pleasant
Very nice hotel,very different from other hotels around , the trees around the hotel make it very special, the atmosphere is very pleasant, the receptionist tried patiently to answer all my questions and recommended different plans to me in terms what is better first to visit and what could better next. And I met a regular visitors who have been coming to this specific hotel for 3 years, antique touch is everywhere, in the breakfast area, the lady which seems the manager or the owner was very pleasant person too , the smile is always there. The guy who served us the breakfast was very pleased to do his job , it was very funny and respectable when I saw him tried his best to serve a very big group of French people, with his basic English, French. If you want to enjoy an antique ,simple and pleasant atmosphere, then this is the one .

You will feel like a home!
You will feel like a home! It is big pleasure to stay by chamny after good dinner cooked by chef at rainy day out if season. Delicious breakfast! All was very friendly and comfortable! Thank you very much!

L'hôtel a beaucoup de charme et l'accueil est sympathique. Notre chambre qui donnait sur un joli jardin était très agréable. Joli éclairage de la chambre ce qui est très rare en Turquie. Dommage que début mai la piscine ne soit pas en eau. Le petit déjeuner était parfait.

Very good service
Excellent service - staff was very friendly and made us a generous breakfast by a roaring fire. Highly recommended.

Dejligt ophold
Rent og hyggeligt hotel tæt ved centrum af Selcuk og tæt ved Saint Johns castle ruiner - ca. 4 km til Efusus. Dejligt dobbelt rum, og hyggelig smagfuld indretning i både hotel, restaurant, pool områderne og værelse.
