Such an amazing stay. The property is impeccable and so tidy. Beautiful views of the sunset from the pool and everything is walkable from nearby restaurants, coffee, and shopping. Fantastic location and the breakfast was phenomenal! Thank you for the great hospitality.
It’s a quaint, charming property with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and we truly appreciated the hospitality. Would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with warm, personal service!
Akanthus is really special — lovely design, comfortable rooms, a beautiful pool, a nice breakfast and fantastic staff. We especially appreciated Alp’s kind guidance and warm reception on our arrival. The location is also perfect — steps from the museum and just a short walk to restaurants.
Our only regret was that we didn’t spend two nights here to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy more time by the pool.
This place is a hidden gem!!! The location, breakfast, staff were all amazing! It was such a nice place to stay especially the receptionist was very helpful. If you plan on ordering a taxi, they can provide you with a list of estimated price so you won't get scammed!
The Akanthus hotel is an incredibly beautifully renovated boutique hotel. Everything is top quality and the layout of the property is incredible offering a nice pool, decks to relax and beautiful views of the night sky. Easy to walk anywhere in town and parking was close. Great value with nice breakfast included.
Lovely property. We were in room 8 which was above reception, which was a little noisy at times. There was a great window bench seat and face cloths in the bathroom which my husband really appreciated. The bathroom was a little small but adequate. Breakfast was nice, eggs cooked several different ways but as we were there 3 nights we would have enjoyed a little more variety as it was the same each day. Street parking was easy, tea and coffee available all day plus cake if you wanted it and an honesty bar if you wanted that too. We thought being able to buy snacks would be a great addition. Wifi was a bit flaky at times. All that said would recommend and would be happy to stay again.
Excellent service across all departments. Quiet and serene inviroment. The only outstanding issue is to mark clearly the direction of a reception. Though the person behind the desk can spot a visitor from inside. Will definitely return . Jared Joseph Wandera
This hotel is a very quaint and romantic hotel, in a very old and well preserved home. They have a small swimming pool and deck, where one can sip their tea/coffee with their lovely homemade cakes and relax with the sunset. Very good service and helpful staff. Serves some delicious breakfast.
Beautiful property, excellent service, lovely breakfast spread. Just really all-around peaceful, and staff were very eager to make our stay a great one.
Absolutely beautiful property, comfortable, well appointed rooms and every member of the staff is excellent. Helpful and friendly and they all made our stay even better.
We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this small, family run boutique hotel. The room was beautiful with comfortable bedding (mattresses were just right - not too hard, not too soft). There was plenty of storage space in the wardrobe. The breakfast —- with eggs made to order - was particularly good. We also enjoyed a nice afternoon at the pool. The staff were very helpful with restaurant recommendations and arranging a taxi to the nearby Ephesus archeological park. We are very happy with our decision to stay at the Akanthus.
