"Week end hivernal très reposant le long du canal et au milieu des champs inondés par la Meuse. Endroit très calme. Promenade en forêt et sur le chemin de halage avec une petite visite sur Verdun. La télé et le Wifi ne sont pas au meilleur de leurs formes mais nous n'étions pas là pour ça. Propriétaire très sympathique. Nous sommes repartis très reposés. Lieu à recommander pour se ressourcer. "

"The gite was very well equipped and comfortable. Probably one of the best we have stayed in over many years. The surrounding countryside is variable, with flat plains , hills and lakes. If you are interested in Ww1 the preserved trenches in the area are the best I have seen. Verdun and Nancy, which are a short drive away, are both historical and picturesque."

"L'Alérion "Nice property , not very easy to find but we managed it . Everything you need for a few days away . Not much in the area local shops are 5 mins drive away , the city is 15 mins away . It was ideal for us as we were attending the Zénith which was the purpose of our visit . The check in process is confusing as the photos don’t match the rooms now . Overall a pleasant stay in Nancy . Be aware next to book ask if construction site across the road has started as it looks like it’s due...

"We had a nice vacation in this lovely house with large rooms, nice kitchen and a beautiful garden with much privacy. Our dog did not want to leave, she loved the lawn in the garden too much. The owners are very friendly and caring. They even gave us a goodbye letter to wish ua a good trip home in our own language. A superb experience!"

Heureusement qu’à 20h un 15 août, le pizzaiolo était ouvert car vu l’état de la vaisselle nous n’aurions pas pu dîner. Le logement n’est absolument pas entretenu ! "The hotel is quite something! Walked around the grounds and it was amazing.. To the spiral staircases, to the gardens to the violin playing over the speakers. Room was spacious and the bed super comfortable. The only neutral-negative comment would be the breakfast. It cost 15Euros which is fine. In fact it could easily be baked into the cost of the room and I wouldn't bat an eye since the stay itself it great value. The breakfast doesn't live up the magnificence of the rest of the hotel. "
