Great location. Less than 10 minutes from restaurants and a market. Trail access from the house and Bell Rock nearby. Quiet neighborhood and wonderful views from the house. My family really enjoyed staying here and it was very relaxing. The house is spacious and easily accommodated my family of five.
We loved the property. Hot tub was great. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Great location for visiting Sedona. Day trip to Grand Canyon. Communication with property owner was great. The place was well supplied with basically everything. Very nice place to stay.
Absolutely stunning area! Roomy home with everything a family needs in the kitchen! Quiet neighborhood with star gazing! Beds were super comfortable and shower water pressure is awesome!! Loved our stay!
Property was located in a beautiful neighborhood just outside of town. Was the perfect location to relax in peace and quiet but be close to shopping/dining, hiking, and golfing. The backyard was our favorite spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning admiring the view before starting our day’s adventure. Couldn’t recommend this place more and hope to make it back out there in the future.
Beautiful home with mountain views and spacious living was perfect for our short stay. Large rooms, smartly decorated interior and exteriors gave a comfortable, luxurious feel to the place. Star gazing from the hot tub was worth the price of admission alone.
The home was beautiful! we were very pleased with the accommodations. Pattie was very responsive to any questions and concerns that we had.
Loved the view in the back yard, including the view of the stars and the Milky Way!
Absolutely great place to stay. Everything you need for a superb holiday. Well stocked kitchen, super location, peaceful and quiet.
Pattie is quick to answer any questions and with suggestions. Wonderful host (hostess)!
Our stay was fabulous! The home was very comfortable and clean and I loved southwestern decor. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful with a nice view of the red rocks from the hot tub. We did lots of hiking and the house is close to many great hiking and off-road trails. We had everything we needed and Pattie was very responsive to any questions we had. 10 out of 10 would stay here again when we come back with our family!
My wife and i absolutely loved the home. It was easy to find and in a nice location. The view from the hot tub was spectacular. We found several hiking trails close to the home. Really looking forward to our return. Highly recommend
What an amazing property! Communication with the owner was top notch! The location of the property is perfect...out of town but close enough to access everything in minutes. The view is beautiful and it is a very quiet neghborhood...we felt right at home. We will be back ♥
The Hiker's Retreat is just that. A great property in a wonderful location. Far enough away from the main traffic to provide a calm and serene setting, but close enough to easily get to hiking, shopping, restaurants, Cottonwood or Flag. Of course, the kitchen is well appointed along with a grill. No need to spend the extra $$ eating out. The hot tub at the end of the day is the cherry on top. The owners are very responsive and accommodating.
What a wonderful house! It was my second time staying here and it was just as amazing as the first time. All three bedrooms are comfortable and the full equipped kitchen is great. We enjoyed the backyard with its hot tub (!!!), fire pit and all the little birds and rabbits. So nice to be out in nature, and still close to everything Sedona has to offer. Pattie is always available and answers communications quickly. This is truly the best place I’ve even stayed at in Sedona.
Not only is the property more beautiful than what the pictures show, it is the perfect location being just out-of-the-way enough of the “hustle and bustle” of downtown Sedona. In the morning, it was an easy 25 minute drive to get to Devils Bridge and the Longman (Birthing Cave) Trailheads for example. During the heaviest traffic times, it was still only 20-25 minutes to Uptown Sedona. So you have the busyness of Sedona, then an easy drive to peace & quiet, with the most amazing stargazing. The home is comfortable and decorated beautifully with all kinds of fun, knickknacks that you can actually find while shopping in Sedona. Hot tub was wonderful, and the beds super comfortable! We would stay here again in an absolute heartbeat!
My wife and I stayed here for (4) wonderful nights. We traveled to Sedona to catch the Perseid meteor shower and had several nights of an amazing display. The house is off the beaten path. Enough to provide complete peace, quiet and completely dark skies, but not too far from the hiking, dining or shopping. Great location to avoid the heavy traffic going in to downtown Sedona.
Exceptionally clean with a fully-stocked kitchen. Also has a large office if you need to work in between play. Highly recommend the Sedona Hiker's Retreat. We'll be visiting here again.
Our group of four friends stayed for a week of State and National Park hiking. This home, located in a gorgeous neighborhood on the outskirts of Sedona, was perfect in every way. It is exceptionally clean with a large backyard, with breathtaking views from every angle. There is a considerable amount of local wildlife in the area that we enjoyed seeing on morning walks. We loved dining on the backyard patio and appreciated the well-appointed kitchen. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. This is the perfect home away from home to immerse yourself in the best of Sedona and AZ.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wild Flower house! Pattie provides everything you need and then some to make you feel at home during your stay. There is a beautiful view of the red rocks, a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, large bathrooms, washer/dryer, fire pit, great outdoor seating, grill, and a hot tub that feels so good adter a day of hiking! Everything is clean and inviting. I have stayed at many rentals in different states and the Wild Flower house provided the most amentities and most comfortable, homey stay I have experienced. Pattie is very responsive and provides great recommendations. I would highly recommend this home!
We loved the Sedona Hikers retreat. The host Pattie is very friendly and responsive. The house was stocked with cozy touches, such as robes, slippers and extra blankets, which I really appreciated. The kitchen was fully equipped. The hot-tub was very relaxing after a day of hiking. The beds were super comfortable. The views from the house and the gardens surrounding the house were beautiful. The walkway up to the house smells like lavender and rosemary. Only about a 5 min drive to the grocery and about 15 to the center of Sedona town. Yet it felt like miles away from anything. Super peaceful neighborhood. I would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in Sedona!
This house was so perfect. It was so clean and comfortable. We spent a lot of time relaxing. We had been so busy on our trip, up until this point, that we were exhausted and in need of some serious down time. The house has everything you could need including a really nice hot tub.
Dealing with Pattie was easy. She was very timely in sending our check in information. She even told us when the house was ready. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get there earlier.
The view from the house was beautiful, the neighborhood was nice and felt very safe. It is about a half hour south of Sedona.
I would suggest this house to everyone.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sedona. The house is located on a quiet street that is almost a cul-de-sac. It is south of Sedona with quick and easy access. Wonderful back yard. We stayed at the very end of July and yet, ate breakfast outside every morning looking up at the beautiful scenery in a secluded little get away.
The house has a very open feel to it with high ceilings throughout the house. As the pictures indicated, spacious space for the family. Plenty of light with wonderful views. Great water pressure in the showers, all the amenities one would need, and plenty of room. Did not use the hot tub but if we did, would have enjoyed the tub with another wonderful view.
Great access to and from Sedona with several pull overs along the short trip to downtown Sedona for unbelievable views and yes, pictures. Wonderful stay! Can't say enough about the home.
This home is wonderful— even better than the beautiful pictures display! The house itself is in a very quiet neighborhood. It sits on a corner lot and has good separation from the neighboring houses. The back yard is wonderful, with a perfect spot to view the sunrise and a hot tub that’s a perfect place to stargaze! Since you’re away from the city of Sedona, the night sky comes even more alive!
The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. The open layout of the kitchen, dining room and living room is much more spacious than the pictures display.
The bedrooms and bathrooms were all very clean with comfy bedding.
The drive into Sedona isn’t far at all and is beautiful! And the Village of Oak Creek area has groceries and dining options if you don’t want to head into Sedona itself.
This home is a hidden gem and is a perfect spot from which you can easily enjoy all Sedona has to offer!
My boys and I have probably stayed at a VRBO property 10 times over the last 8 years or so for vacations. All of our experiences have been good ones, and most pretty great. This one is either the best or one of the very best at least. Sedona, Grand Canyon, antelope Canyon, etc. are all amazing, and this Wild Flower Circle house is so much fun to come home too at the end of the day. The house, backyard, Jacuzzi are all really lovely and comfortable. Something that I find unique that I really liked about staying here is, the hosts don’t throw away every single grocery type item (obviously, they do throw out the appropriate ones), making it so you don’t have to buy every single simple thing when you get there, like coffee, coffee filters, salt, pepper, seasonings, etc. We were even surprised to find that when we arrived, there were seven or eight bottles of Coors bank with beer in the refrigerator waiting for us… there was even shaving cream, sunblock, bug spray, aloe for sunburn… and a lot of properties we’ve stayed at, the host has the staff basically just throw every single thing away. I loved it, not having to purchase all of those things for a 5 night stay. The stargazing from the hot tub at night is spectacular too, you turn off all of the house, lights and make it as dark as possible… don’t even have to drive out anywhere
