Great friendly concierge service, good value perks included, except that I was not credited on the perks and got charged full price for breakfast (which was super expensive) when I was meant to have a $27 credit daily for food and drink. I called and still not resolved.

The hotel is getting outdated. Basic amenities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, laundry bag and water kettle have to be requested. And they do not provide slippers. Convenient location though.

Very underwhelmed by The Westin Seattle. Our luggage took 20 minutes to be delivered to our room, there were very few bathroom amenities offered, and the lack of a fridge was puzzling, given the restaurant and bar downstairs. Additionally, one might expect a $50 room service delivery to be nicer than a paper bag delivery with only one set of plastic utensils (even though it was said that two people would be dining) and almost one month expired orange juice (Tropicana bottle) and apple juice with no ice or cup. Also, no phone guide for how to reach the front desk, no personal bottles of wine allowed at the restaurant (even for a corkage fee), and very non-immediate valet service. Disappointed because of the amount of money spent and the advertising of the hotel suggested better quality than what was received. The ice machines were also not working on our floor. It just felt like a lack of attention and/or staffing.

The check in process was smooth, got an early check in (11am) and free upgrade! The bartender, by the name of Ethan was amazing, great service, and very personable. The downfalls to this property is we requested housekeeping every day because there’s three of us staying in one room, need fresh towels, etc. housekeeping did not take out the trash, did not replace dirty glasses. They came in and made the bed. The room that we were in, 2155 air-conditioning/heating vent was dirty and there was black suet, junk whatever you wanna call it on the ceiling over the bed. Service at the cafe was slow, and we wanted to hear the collage football game and was advised that the hotel policy is NO sound on the tv’s. Easy to order an Uber, usually arrives in a minute or less!

During my scheduled 4 night stay at overpriced New years prices… I requested our room be cleaned, it wasn’t. Thought it was a communication barrier… went to the front sealed and asked if they could send someone up to do the room. Came back a second time and the only thing done was the bed was poorly made with nothing else in the room done. I spoke to the front desk manager Ray and the training manager Selma and they seemed more concerned about me lowering my voice in the lobby so others didn’t know what was going on. After realizing they did not care, nor were they willing to send someone back to actually CLEAN the room. I said I want my money back, packed my bags and left… I will be contacting the Westin & Marriott head office. This is not Westin or Marriott standard at all. On top of that you have to pay a resort fee everyday and you can’t even come back to a clean room after 3 requests. Travellers BEWARE!!!!

This property is very nice and the stay was excellent. However, the check in line was atrocious. There were 2 employees working and I was in line for over an hour. I ended up having to cancel dinner reservations because we were going to be late. It was New Years Eve and there was also the NHL Winter Classic and a concert at Climate Pledge Arena… they should have staffed accordingly.
