My family and I stayed in Ruth's upstairs home, with a wrap around balcony. The home was beautiful and well equipped with anything you might need. It was clean and well decorated to make you feel like a home. The boardwalk was literally outside your door, it only took minutes to reach the sand and ocean. I loved staying at Ruth's home, I will love to stay again next year. There were plenty of safety officers patrolling the boardwalk and surrounding areas, so my whole family felt very safe and secure during our stay.

Absolutely gorgeous

This place is simply amazing! Not only is it clean but it’s close proximity to the beach and boardwalk is super convenient. The kitchen is fully stocked with every pan and cookware you could possibly need. Ruth the owner is super friendly and responsive. If your on the fence about booking this stay just do it you won’t regret it!

Serene, beautiful property

Thank you to Ruth for providing an amazing refuge to the craziness of today's world! The apartment was beautiful, the fireplace and furnishings were perfect, and the location was centrally located with a view to die for! I was in search of a peaceful, winter getaway and was not disappointed at all!

We enjoyed location—outdoor deck was especially nice with sunny days on our October visit— Walked to grocery store—biked down to Island Park NJ State Park—also enjoyed beach and boardwalk walking Enjoyed this clean and comfortable house with open floor plan—it was a nice getaway for us— Owner info was promptly delivered and spot on accurate—

Perfect NJ Staycation

The house and location was wonderful! Bright, clean, spacious with a fantastic wrap around porch and roomy off-street parking. Everything you need (besides food, bed linens and towels) were supplied. Perfectly sized for a family of up to 6 people. We were a family of 4 adults with a 4 year old child (plus our day-visiting parents) so having 1.5 bathrooms was great, and both were very spacious! The shower/tub combo in the main bathroom was large and bright, and the 1/2 bath was roomy even with the wash/dryer combo in it. The location was great. The house is directly across the street from the Northern end of the boardwalk with nearly direct access to beach and a very short walk to Casino Pier. You basically just walk across the street and you’re on the boardwalk! We stayed during the September locals’ summer in the middle of a pandemic, but was pleasantly surprised that most of the businesses were open and restaurants had ample outside dining. Acme, a liquor store and CVS are only a short drive away. The owner, Ruth, was wonderful and very responsive. The town unknowingly started construction on the new carousel museum directly across the street, right before our stay, which was unfortunate. But Ruth was extremely understanding and did whatever she could to make our stay better. She was very accommodating. And the carousel will be a great attraction for visitors in2021! Overall it’s a great house managed by a responsive and caring owner. We highly recommend the upper unit. Thank you Ruth! We hope to visit again when the carousel museum project is completed!

A beautiful house with lots to do!

We had a fabulous time! We couldn't stop talking about all of the thoughtful touches and how nicely the house was decorated. It is so bright and has such a cozy, homey feel. I have rented many VRBO's and I was pleasantly surprised with how well stocked the house was. The location was absolutely perfect and we enjoyed the beach, the boardwalk, the concerts at Carteret Stage & bike rides. The deck was such a tranquil place to watch the sunrise & have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in the evenings. The owner has thought of everything you'll need to feel right at home!

Hospitality was Amazing!

Ruth went above and beyond to make her rental feel like a home for our family of 5. Great location.... just steps from the beach and boardwalk. The home is close enough to walk everywhere but also far away enough where you can enjoy the peaceful side of town. Can't wait to stay there again. Super clean and welcoming space.... so if you are reading this and hesitant...just book it and stop looking for a better place... you won't be disappointed. 1st time user and reviewer of vrbo.

Great Property

Stayed for a week with my wife, 3yo daughter and 16month son. Had the kids bunk together in second bedroom. Worked out good. Place is clean and comfortable. Great location at the north end of the boardwalk. Short walk to the rides and beach. While the property worked for us, it would be better with kids a little older. There are some steps and fireplace that are hard to keep contained. The balcony outside was great area to relax and have a couple drinks after kids went to bed. Also nice area to keep them contained. We did not have the need to really talk with the host but the limited interactions were all positive.
