「Poor heating system and none in the bathroom. Shower curtain much to short, one shower and the floor was soaked which is probably why it is soft and feels like you could step through it. Looks」

「Beautiful historic Inn. Informative staff and very personable owner, Allison.」

「We arrived on a cold evening in mid-October and the cottage interior was the same temperature as the exterior. The heating was broken and we were given a little space heater instead. There was also not an oven or stove (as advertised), instead a two-burner hot plate was set up on top of the inoperable appliance. Good thing I had decided to bring a pre-cooked meal, which had not been my original plan. I don’t think I am being too harsh in thinking that if you don’t have heating/oven/stovetop,...

「Very minimal breakfast. The muffins were good. There are many steps to get to rooms... in car you can't carry luggage up steps. We were able to. My husband is strong.」

「It was a wonderful experience for my kids and the whole family including our dog. The only recommendation would be to have a more comfortable mattress. Everything else was just perfect.」

「Clean room but in need of update! New beds, pillows and linen ! Great parking and great location !」

「Great room」

「The Spouter Inn is a beautiful bed and breakfast overlooking the ocean. The rooms are quiet and beautifully appointed. The breakfast and daily cookies are superb. It was a pleasure for us to stay in such an idyllic setting, with such a friendly staff and excellent amenities. We highly recommend it!」

「This was my favorite place to stay. Like having a little home of our own in Maine. Close to all the places we wanted to see.」
