Faye's Retreat

Private cabin that sits extremely close to Little River Canyon at only 3 miles. While sitting only 4.7 miles away from DeSoto State Park making this cabin right in the middle of the areas most popular must see destinations. This cabin has two separate bedrooms and each has a queen sized bed . One upstairs and one downstairs. A custom very unique walk in shower. Very comfy living room area with a fire place and many overhead lighting options for the perfect mood. The upstairs sitting area is perfect for the morning coffee drinker or book reading while staring out the large open windows. The rear porch is the favorite for anyone who visits. Its extremely private, has a large hot tub, a nice sitting area or you can explore the wilderness right outside the back door. The cabin will make you feel as your all by yourself yet your less than 8 minutes to town. We also have great phone and internet service. The kids and adults both will enjoy the moments around the unique fire pit, It offers huge oversized boulders that many friends can sit around for late night fun and marsh mellows. The cabin is completely surrounded by thick trees and sits on a dense private wooded 5 acre lot. We also keep a charcoal grill at the back porch for those that like to grill out. We are about a 17 minute drive to Weiss lake, or a 10 minute drive to Fort Payne water reservoir and within 20 minutes Dekalb County Lake. So bring those kayaks and boats along with you for some great fishing.

We are very communicative and will happily guide you to the areas best attractions whether it be Restaurants, Fishing, Hiking, Malls and so on. We love to help.

We couldnt be happier with our stay. The property was exactly as advertised and smelled so clean when we got there. The owners had a beautiful Christmas tree set up for the holiday and the hot tub was amazing. We would stay here over and over again!

We had a great time. Our cabin was easy ton locate, clean, and the perfect size for us. We loved the hot tub, which was the cleanest we’ve ever had and we go to gatlinburg quite a lot! Lots of privacy and lots of time to relaxing! We will definitely stay again!

This cabin was amazing. Very clean, well built, great location. The owners were also wonderful. 10/10 can’t wait to come back. The kitchen and grill had every thing we needed. It has a great hot tub and location is very quiet.

We enjoyed our week of quiet found the cabin to be comfortable and supplied with everything that we needed. Close to town , state park, scenic drive to Mentone.

New Year's retreat

Property was great and exactly as advertised. Super clean when we got there, they even changed the hot tub water from the previous guests (had to wait a few hours for it to heat back up, but worth it). Very easy checkout process as well. This was exactly what my family needed after the stresses of Christmas.

Lovely cabin

We went for the weekend to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, nature and the hot tub. It would be nice to include some firewood and hubby made a mess with some pringles and we couldn’t find a broom. Apologies to the cleaners!

Quick get away

A mom and 4 kids. A little get away with hot tub, water fall, yummy ice cream, camp fire, board games, and closeness. This was a safe place to go to, no worry of bears, for those of us that have fears. We all had a good time. 2- 16 year old girls, 12 year old boy, 8 year old girl and 44 year old mom. mom.

Girl's Weekend

We loved the cabin it was very nicely done & sitting back in the woods for seclusion was very peaceful. The hot tub was very relaxing. Matt, the host was very attentive & very helpful with answering all of our questions. We will be back at some point. Thank you for the great place to relax & share a lot of laughs with friends.

Amazing Weekend!

We have been needing a weekend getaway just the two of us. It had been over a year since we did something like this! I found this place and had a couple of others saved but this one just seemed like something that would be perfect for us and it was! Matt was very informative and the check in process was easy when we arrived. The cabin is amazing and just old rustic vibes. The hot tub and privacy was amazing as well. We didn’t do much venturing. We laided around and relax and this was a perfect place to do that! We will definitely be back and definitely stay in this cabin or one of the others that Matt offers!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin. The location was perfect—peaceful and somewhat secluded, yet just a short drive to town. The cabin was spotless and very well-maintained, which we greatly appreciated.One of the highlights was the relaxing hot tub, a perfect way to unwind. We also loved the thoughtful touch of having the Christmas tree up and beautifully decorated—it made the space feel extra festive and welcoming.The provided bathroom toiletries were a pleasant surprise—they smelled amazing and left my hair feeling so soft!Overall, this cabin offered the perfect combination of comfort, cleanliness, and convenience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Fort Payne.

Amazing and peaceful

It was so beautiful. There is one thing i think they need to do and that's to cut those dead trees in the driveway. It got stormy one night we were there and we moved our truck on the road and were scared they would fall on the cabin.
