"This was an amazing site. With beautiful views of the mountains - with deer, hawks, geese and more - it was so relaxing. The deck was the place to be early morning or evening. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We had a couple of communication mishaps due to later than expected check in information and our travel and cell coverage problems. I'd highly recommend Rachael's Place and would love to return."

"This is a gem, we had a delightful stay. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The property is clean and conveniently located. It is a historic hotel and you give up a bit of modern convenience but we enjoy staying at historic hotels. There is no TV in the room nor mini-fridge or microwave. There is an elevator however. Loads of history here. The rooms are spacious and comfortable."

"Basecamp was great for our family of 8. Lisa was so sweet, greeting us with cookies and snacks for the kids. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay again."
