Science City

Great central location to go everywhere on the island. Quiet area but super close to go anywhere. Beach is right across the street, but never went to that beach as it was right on highway and no amenities. But would be perfect if you wanted to just jump in and swim! Pool was nice. Room was great. Bed and pillows were very comfy. Even without ac, never felt too hot as fans were huge and produced great air. Would recommend to anyone who wants a nice place close to other areas ( not walking distance tho), at a great price compared to staying in a touristy resort

It would have been nice to have another restaurant available for lunch. The only ones open were Sushi (my family doesn't eat sushi) and the Ama (which was packed). Ko only served at the bar. It was a bit frustrating.

Overall, the Grand Wailea is a great hotel, however, as a guest you feel like you’re just a cog in the machine. We had a great time, but never felt that over the top service / experience that you would expect for a hotel with the reputation that it has / costs as much as it does
