「This was our first time in a bed and breakfast. The staff was delightful. Property was clean. Location is perfect for shopping and walking in the historic district. I’m giving it 5 stars for what it is-but it’s not a five star hotel. It’s an old house! The food was better than what I would cook but if you love breakfast I hear there are some gourmet breakfast places in Savannah. I would stay here again and recommend to a friend for an affordable bed and breakfast. 」

「Very nice place to spend a few days at while in Historic Savannah. Close to everything. Easy walk to most attractions. 20 minutes or less. Restaurants literally outside the entrance door. The apartment itself was as advertised. Clean, furniture and bed were comfortable. Everything you need to cook a meal if you don’t feel like going out. 「The room was very clean, with new towels and trash pickup every day. The breakfast was great: yogurt with fruit and granola, eggs, bacon, and a few others things. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the stairs are certainly a lot but the bed was comfortable and the noise was minimal. Parking is paid ($1.00 per hour) but is free from 8PM to 8AM!!! The courtyard is nice as well. 」

Initially, my fiancé and I had selected the Marriott right up the street but I took another look at River Street Inn reviews and decided to go there instead. Thank goodness there was a room available for us with no rebooking. We enjoyed the staff, room and premises to much that we extended our stay by one night. Cassandra is a gem and absolutely Amazing! There are two charming balconies and a patio area.The manager, Mark was very helpful, kind, and hospitable. The next time we visit Savannah, we plan and look forward to staying at the Present Hotel. 」
