We very much enjoyed our stay. We had kids and adults with plenty of room for everyone. Pretty much 2 master suites which was perfect for 2 families. A huge walk-in area and really loved the back deck. Very clean and was just as advertised. There are a lot of stairs! Be ready for that :)
Our only negative was the Beachway Resort and the woman at the front desk - really all the other employees there were fantastic, she was not to say the least.
Right as I walked in, the woman immediately started scolding me for having a boat in tow, I had to calm her down and let her know we weren't keeping it there but just drove 3 hours and wanted to get the kids to our VRBO before my husband took the boat to the marina down the street. A very short time later, as we were hiking the huge amount of stairs to bring our luggage up she made a rude comment that we brought too much (which we didn't at all - I wore every piece of clothing and ran out of kids clothes) and should have brought only a helmet. She could have nicely told us about the luggage carrier on the other side of the resort area instead. Finally, when we checked-in she gave us 1 parking slip. I told her we are in the big house and have 2 cars. She said that its fine just have the other car park in the parking lot as long at there is room (this was on Friday.) On Monday morning I happened to take a call outside and my friend's car was being towed away! We were able to stop the tow truck but at that time my friends had to deal with a tow truck, a police officer and the rude woman again who had called to have the car towed from a place we paid to stay at. One of the most unfortunate hotel workers I've ever encountered.
