"We, two families from Norway (4 adults and 5 kids ranging from 5 to 14 years old), rented this house in July 2022. The house is quite new, modern and nice. However, our primary reason for renting this particular house was that it was only 400 meters walking distance to the beach (clearly stated in the advert on vrbo.com). It was quite disappointing to find out that the closest beach was a beach for naturists only… All in all, we had a nice stay, but it’s worth noting that we think this house has...

"We had a fantastic stay . The house is beautiful, very spacious and superbly equipped. The outside terrace is massive and with a separate pool area there is plenty of space. A five minute drive to amazing beaches, great boulangerie, bouchier and supermarket just down the road made it a great location, with Porto-Vecchio and Bonifsacio within east reach. Florence was a very helpful and friendly host and we would highly recommend this for a great holiday."

Le Balamina

10/10 Excellent

"We were very kindly received at the reception desk after we „survived” a deception on our arrival in Porto Vecchio, because the owner of the apartment we had originally booked pretended that he had cancelled the booking, which was not true. The staff at Le Balamina made us feel safe regarding our stay in Porto Vecchio. We also had a delicious continental breakfast. We can‘t but recommend this Hotel which is not far from the port."

"Hotel Moderne is an elegant gem in the busy centre of Porto-Vecchio. Arrival and departure were very easy -- we communicated via Expedia/WhatsApp beforehand, and Joana sent clear instructions for driving to the drop-off spot directly in front of the hotel, and for the private gated parking a 5-minute stroll away, which even had a charging point for our electric car -- so convenient (don't forget to reserve in advance)! Reception was also able to arrange a last-minute taxi/driver for us to go to dinner just outside town, though also recommended arranging this well in advance. We only stayed for 2 nights and I suspect like most guests, we spent most of our time out and about exploring the nearby beaches and Bonifacio, but Hotel Moderne was a lovely place to return to and wake up in -- the room was cool (great A/C), clean, modern, comfortable (big king-sized bed) and elegant, and mostly quiet even with World Cup games being celebrated just outside. (Maybe bring earplugs if you're VERY sensitive to noise overnight.) Highly recommend as a charming oasis in Porto-Vecchio, and we were so happy with our choice."

"Der Urlaub war ein Traum. Angefangenen von der Schlüsselübergabe um 23 Uhr nachts, bis hin zu der unkomplizierten Übergabe bei der Abreise. Wir durften unsere Checkout Zeit nach Rücksprache um ein paar Stunden verlängern. Zimmeraufteilung für zwei Familien mit jeweils einem Kind und zwei weiteren Paaren optimal. Jeder hat sein eigenes Bad, bestehend aus eigener Dusche und Toilette und sehr bequemen Betten. Die gemeinsam genutzten Räume sind noch größer als man es auf den Bildern erahnen kann. Der Pool war beheizt und mit einer Außentemperatur von ca. 22 C immer noch ca. 23 bis 24 C warm. Der Ausblick ist genauso wie auf den Bildern gezeigt, absolut traumhaft. Der Grill wurde intensiv genutzt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen. "
