My friend & I like to come to the Sarasota/Siesta Key area 2-3 times a year, so doing so on a budget is important. I’ve stayed on and off the Key, at many different places, and Terry’s place is perfect for 1-2 people wanting to stay off the Key. One of my favorites. Less than 2 miles to the beach. Probably walkable if you’re ambitious. Definitely bikeable. If you have a car there’s space for that too.
I liked that it’s separate from the house.. has its private entrance and no shared walls. I believe the garage separates this unit and the house. The bed was comfortable (that’s important!), the bathroom has a hair dryer, and a few essentials you may forget. The kitchenette is nice for simple food prep.. do not plan to cook unless it’s microwaveable. I greatly appreciated the fridge of water when we arrived & snacks! Such a nice touch! We loved that there are beach chairs, beach bag, coolers, & umbrellas. Super nice to have when you’re flying in and can’t bring those things. The gift card to the Clever Cup and fresh flowers were a bonus!! I will most definitely see if Terry’s place is available next time I come to Siesta. Nice neighborhood, cozy unit, friendly & quick to respond host, budget-friendly. Don’t hesitate to book!!
