Our family of 2 young children, husband and mother-in-law had to stay for one night to visit family in Siesta Key Beach, so we stayed here. After taxes and all the charges, we paid almost $400 for not even 24 hours. The pictures looked nice, clean and safe - and close to the beach. So, why not, right? The place is cute enough inside but the outside is questionable and looks very run down. Also, there is no hot tub, like the listing states. Once you enter the unit, the place smells very musty and the outside seating area looks abandoned along with a broken master room window nearby. Regardless, we really just needed to sleep there and make a quick dinner that evening. However, there was no paper towels, no salt and pepper, no dish soap, no shampoo or bathroom soap, no sheets for the pull-out couch....nothing. It's furnished, yes. But don't count on much else. You have to bring ALL ESSENTIALS. Ok, moving on: the tv's in the bedrooms. Those don't work. They are there with remotes in front of them, but don't try to get them to work, like I did for over an hour to find out from one of the "assistant managers" to the owner that they do not work and are not hooked up. Okaaaaaay. Then why are they out? Why are the remotes out? 60-90 minutes WASTED right there. So, if you would like to put your children in a separate room to watch tv, so you and your spouse can cook, good luck. We should've just lit our money on fire. Look elsewhere!
