Stunning Home, Fully Equipped for Cooking & Entertainment

We were fortunate to reserve Kim’s home to celebrate a birthday. The house is beautifully decorated with the mountains providing a stunning backdrop. Each night we cooked and found the kitchen to be extremely well equipped with plenty of bowls and pots and pans. The game room downstairs had something for everyone. Communication and instructions were very clear. We had no problems with access, and Kim was super responsive. I would return and recommend this home to anyone looking for a mountain getaway.

The Perfect House

This house was truly ideal for five couples, each enjoying their own queen or king size bed. The arcade games, pool table, and ping-pong table brought endless joy! The kitchen was abundantly equipped with pots, pans, silverware, and cooking utensils, enabling us to create delightful meals as we were snowed in. With everything we needed at our fingertips, our group of ten thrived together! The views were breathtaking, enhancing our unforgettable experience. We had an incredible time!

We had a “family” gathering, we were a group of 12 friends, was perfect! Perfect location, quiet, lots of places for entertainment! For sure we will go back again!

Kim was very responsive and helpful. The house had everything we could have asked for. Kitchen was stocked above expectations but the highlight was the unmatched view!! The long, windy road up to the house was worth the drive!! Highly recommend!

Great home for large group

We had a Dad-Kid weekend with 6 dads and 6 kids 4-6 years old. The downstairs had a ton of activities and plenty of room for all of us to relax. The view was incredible and the house was everything the listing states.

Hard to Beat the Views

Wonderful place with everything you need to stay entertained. The view is amazing! We loved the layout and how they setup the bedroom space. Very comfortable for sleeping and the bathrooms are done up perfect. Kim was fantastic to deal with and very responsive. It’s another reminder of why we don’t use hotels anymore. We will visit again and I just ask that anyone else who stays there to take good care and respect this beautiful place for future visitors!

Perfect House!

Our family just left High Heaven and we were so sad to go! We had the most wonderful stay. The house is so well appointed very spacious. There are 3 bedrooms on each floor. The floor plan really allows everyone some privacy and also offers many great gathering spaces. Each night we ate dinner on the upper deck and had s’mores by the fire on the lowest level. There is a pool table, pop-a-shot, and ping pong. The upper kitchen has everything you need and room to spread out and cook with others. The view- it’s spectacular. The house is super clean and equipped with everything we needed. The owner is very nice and easy to communicate with. We would give this house 100 stars if we could! All positive! Thanks for a great stay.

Mountain View Wedding

Our family and friends had a beautiful stay! We had our wedding ceremony in the backyard and it was perfect! We loved all the games, hanging chairs and the bonfire pit! I would highly recommend this property for you next mountain get away!

Beautiful home with breathtaking mountain views

We were so impressed with this lovely home and it’s gorgeous views. Our family of 15 people (which included ages of 6 months to 72 years) all agreed that we couldn’t have had a prettier place to stay and enjoy each others company. All of us fit fine in the main living area but there was also a fantastic rec room that the children loved and spent a lot of time in. The kitchen was very pretty and functioned well with two or more cooks. There was enough refrigerator space to accommodate all of our groceries, and the kitchen was wonderfully stocked with all the kitchenware you could want. The downstairs kitchen and additional laundry facilities were very helpful. The three levels of decks were fantastic and again, never felt crowded. We built a campfire one night and the set up of the space worked beautifully and allowed all of us to congregate in that very pretty area and easily talk to each other. We’d highly recommend this home for your mountain stay.

Incredible mountain views

This is a beautiful home with spectacular views from 3 levels of decks and from nearly all the bedrooms and common areas. The kitchen is big and exceptionally well-equipped. The game room has a pool table, ping pong, and an arcade player with a wide range of games for all ages. All of us (grandparents, kids and grandkids) enjoyed it immensely. There are many TVs around the home, so everyone can watch what they wish. The house is very well furnished, including LOTS of outdoor furniture and a gas fireplace on the top deck. Plenty of parking in the driveway. The winding road to the property is well paved, but narrow, so you have to go slow. We saw a bear and her three cubs in the driveway, so pay attention to the rules. We had a great time!

90th Birthday celebration

Our family gathered at High Heaven to celebrate my Mother-in-law’s 90th birthday. Our group included 2 2 year old boys, a 7 year old girl, and adults ranging in age from 25 to 90. We couldn’t have found a more perfect home for our celebration! We were in awe of the views from the upper and lower decks, as well as most of the rooms in this gorgeous home. We enjoyed everything, from cooking many meals in the fully stocked kitchen, the fireplace in the main room, the fire pit, the concrete fireplace on the upper deck, and of course, the game room in the lower level. We were all delighted to watch deer grazing in the early mornings from the dining room window and deck. Kim was wonderful to work with throughout our stay and answered my texts within minutes. Thank you Kim for sharing your home with our family. My Mother-in-law said that this was one of the best memories of her life!

Amazing House

The communication with the owner was always quick. The house was so clean and everything we perfect. The home is fully stocked in the kitchen with EVERYTHING you need. The home is so welcoming, and makes you feel right at home. The game room was perfect for the older teens. All the rooms were inviting. This experience and home all get ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Awesome stay at High Heaven

High Heaven has it all: space, well appointed kitchen, games and entertainment, outdoor areas to hang out, and views that are some of the best we have ever had in the NC mountains. This house is set up perfectly for multiple couples and is family friendly. The downstairs game room area was super fun. Highly recommend!

12 members gather to celebrate birthday

The property was listed accurately. It was roomy and the kitchen utensils and appliances were high end. Overall, enjoyed the property immensely and the owner was VERY prompt about any questions and one empty propane tank (there was a spare, but we didn't see it). Would certainly recommend.

Truly wonderful!

I recently stayed here with friends and we could not have asked for a better house. Everything was perfect! Very clean, incredibly stocked, and lots of things to keep us occupied… although we mostly chose to relax on the giant living room sofa in front of the fire. The views are spectacular and we loved looking out over the mountains. We even got snow when we were there! Owner communication was great too! She gave such great information about the area to help us plan some day trips. We really enjoyed going into town and visiting the Highlands. But our last day we chose to stay at the house. I really hope to come back again soon with my family!
