I am sad to say that the Mercure Sao Paolo Grand Plaza Paulista is the worst hotel I have stayed in in decades. I booked a 4-star hotel but this hotel is no more than a 2-star hotel. The rooms are terrible.

It's was a nice stay overall, but there were some things that feels like management is out of touch with the property. For example, some of the lights had wiring issues and broke. I was surprised to find there was not an iron/ironing board in the room? And then the biggest thing that stood out was not having a trash can inside the room. The only one was the small one in the bathroom for toilet paper, so it didn't have enough space for drink containers. I think if the general manager spent a night in the hotel it would provide some perspective of what could be improved. A big thing that would also greatly improve the quality are the mattresses. Outside of that though, most of the staff was helpful.

Minha estadia foi um verdadeiro desastre na parte administrativa e de atendimento. Eu já havia pago a reserva pelo Expedia, mas mesmo assim cobraram novamente do meu filho via Pix. Além disso, quando pedi para estender a estadia, obrigaram meu filho a sair do quarto para depois colocá-lo de volta no mesmo quarto, algo totalmente sem sentido. Há uma funcionária no turno da noite que é muito confusa, fala demais e acabou gerando ainda mais confusão, principalmente porque tínhamos três quartos reservados. Para completar, agora estão tentando me cobrar novamente por consumos que já haviam sido pagos. Sinceramente, foi uma experiência caótica e decepcionante.

This was an ideal place for us to stay with a small infant. The room was excellent and the staff, lovely. One thing i would have preferred is if there wasnt such bright light bulbs. It was very harsh and gave no ambient lighting so was hard to get baby to sleep even with just one lamp light on.

Hotel não vale o custo! Quartos estão com mobília antiga, portas descascando, ar condicionado e frigobar fazem muito barulho! Reservamos um quarto para 04 pessoas, porém não tinha disponível. Colocaram a gente em outro quarto com um colchão improvisado. Não recomendo pelo custo x benefício. Valor não condiz com a entrega e qualidade dos serviços!

Ficamos hospedados no hotel do dia 10 de abril, quinta, até dia 12 de abril, sábado. Minha família estava dividida em dois quartos e em ambos tivemos problemas sem solução alguma. Em um dos quartos, desde o primeiro dia, durante a tarde, notificamos que a televisão não funcionava, e mesmo avisando outras vezes, inclusive pessoalmente, sobre o ocorrido, não houve ninguém para consertar. Já no outro quarto, tivemos uma série de problemas: 1. A vazão do chuveiro era incapaz para tomar um banho decente, na temperatura morna chegava a gotejar, nas extremidades não mudava tanta coisa também. Avisamos no primeiro dia, o suporte

Decepção em todos os aspectos

Foi uma decepção, contratei o hotel pela localização, e por imaginar por ter um valor considerável, seria confortável e teria um bom serviço, mas não foi o que aconteceu! Os funcionários são educados mas não resolvem nada, a tv não funcionava e me disseram que a pessoa havia ido embora, ok, no outro dia ninguém apareceu então dos 3 dias que ficamos hospedados sem tv, chuveiro com pressão ruim, água quente bem fraca, a limpeza do quarto precária, cabelo no chão de outros hóspedes! Todos os problemas entramos em contato com a recepção, ouviram educadamente, porém nenhuma solução ! Um funcionário informou que para reduzir o consumo de água eles colocaram um redutor de água e eu medi e filmei, para encher o copo de água de 250 ml no chuveiro, levou 17 segundos, imagine tomar um banho, ou mesmo lavar cabelos, e ainda encontramos traças no quarto !

Fiz uma reserva em suite executiva e fui acomodada em um quarto inferior. A porta do banheiro não parava fechada. O banheiro tinha cabelo do hóspede anterior no chão e no box do chuveiro.
