Amazing property & location - communic needs work

I booked two different Charlie stays this month, both in São Paulo. From what I have seen and experienced, all of Charlie’s properties are simply gorgeous, super clean, modern, and well located. Honestly no complaints whatsoever about the property itself, however, I will note two things the business should work on: 1) check ins were very disorganized and complicated. Both times I booked with Charlie, instructions were not sent by check-in time. I had to message them via WhatsApp and wait for a response for me to get the door code which took about 30 mins the first time and the second time they only answered the guy at the building’s front desk, and only answered me a longer while later. 2) I did require some assistance throughout my stay and my questions went unanswered completely.

As soon as get in the room I realized that that tv remote control wasn't working, battery died. I reached out for help and they suggested me to use the batteries from the AC (what?) let alone AC and TV remote do not use the same batteries. The room smelled sewer, all the time, very strong smell. 8 am on Saturday there was working on the floor, waking up everyone on the floor. On Sunday there was an alarming beeping all they long on the floor. Never again. I do not recommend and I am not coming back.

Was looking for a nice place with a Jacuzzi spend a nice evening. First issue was that they don't have a person to call - you just have to talk to a robot in whatsapp and only after 10-15 minutes pattern of answers (in portuguese) you get a live person. Check in starts at 3PM - there was no information about apartment number or room. Only after spending 30 minutes talking to robots I managed to get to a live person and they chatted me the room number and access code. As soon as we got there, we saw that the jacuzzi is barely working and again (30 minutes robot), asked to cancel our reservation and get refunded - to what we were told that it was booked with expedia and not with them directly, so it's non refundable. The room also ended up having no internet connection, and a broken oven and stove (thus impossible to cook dinner). Every single time I had to wait to pass the robot conversation in order to talk to someone, everytime I was basically told that "oh well, the room is there, you have a bed, so why you want to cancel". Ruined evening because of useless service of Charlie and braindead support. In the end, paid for the most expensive room they had and ended up with just a working bed, no jacuzzi, no kitchen, no internet...

Infelizmente o quarto estava bem sujo, banheiro sujo com exaustor imundo, muita poeira nos móveis e lixo cheio... Tirando isso, a equipe é super atenciosa, a segurança é ótima, estacionamento muito bom! Já ficamos outras duas vezes na rede Charlie em outros locais de sp e não tivemos o problema da sujeira, acredito ser um fato isolado.

O prédio é bem legal, novo e bem cuidado, mas a localização achei bem ruim, indispensável uso d carro p/tudo. Agr o barulho da marginal Pinheiros é INSUPORTÁVEL, dia ou noite o barulho é intenso. Se quarto barulhento for problema p/vc… esqueça!!!
