The property is located in the center of historic city next to the catedral, the restaurant around the area are plenty and good food, best place ever

Lage ist super, max. 2 Minuten zur Kathedrale, allerdings passt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis gar nicht. Das Zimmer war sehr klein, was für eine Nacht nicht schlimm ist. Im Zimmer roch es feucht / muffig, die Fenster waren von innen komplett beschlagen - das mag an den alten dicken Steinwänden liegen. Nachts war es kalt, ich habe in meiner Fleecejacke geschlafen. Das Wasser zum Duschen war lauwarm, die Bettdecke zwar vermutlich frisch gewaschen, jedoch fleckig.

Fue un poco extraño que no habia ninguna persona en fisico para atendernos. Todo fue por Whatsapp. Por lo demas lo mejor del hotel es la ubicacion.

The staff did not turn on the heater when I checked in, but issue was resolved when I had my husband (in US) spoke to them in Spanish through whatsapp. Friendly staff. Restaraunt attached has terrible empanada

Please clean the property
Hello, We selected the Oxford Suites Santiago de Compostela for its excellent location to the Cathedral. Our rooms (2) were located on the third floor (no elevator; it would have been useful to understand in advance since we had an elderly family member). The room was simple and modest, all we needed. The bathroom had a must/sewer smell. The shower door was broken and unable to close. The drain did not work properly and the basin was flooding. The vent was dirty/dusty. The top of the bed sheet had smudges and the comforter was dirty (we opted not to use it). Though we contemplated to switch hotels for the second night, our flight was leaving early next morning (6:00am), and we needed to leave hotel by 4:00am. That night we found bed bugs and left the location at earliest convenience. A charming location that would benefit from a comprehensive/deep cleaning.

While the room was small it was attractive & well appointed. The bed’s pillow however was very hard & too high & narrow to sleep comfortably & not get a sore neck. The shower leaked significantly onto the main bathroom floor. The room was extremely cold & there was no heat. And it would have been nice to have had at least one English speaking news channel on the tv. I am now in a hotel in Porto & the tv has 6 English speaking news channels(one would be fine). On the positive side, the staff were excellent, very friendly, helpful & accommodating., providing terrific service. And the property was ideally located, virtually next door to the Cathedral.

Great location. Not for allergics
Great location, super clean sheets, very nice staff. But if you are sensitive to mold, this is definitely not the place for you.

The staff went above and beyond! I was greeted in English by a young woman who said she was there to help me. Between her and the gentleman at reception the service was excellent. They helped me with transportation to airport, removing the carbon tip from my hiking pole, directing me to the best laundry service in Santiago and answered all my questions. I enjoyed the Galician Octopus in their restaurant. I will stay there again if in Santiago:

The location near the Cathedral Santiago is perfect. The hotel was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. The staff was very accommodating.

Close to Compostela Cathedral room ok enough
Well....the location was perfect - only a few hundred meters from the Compostela Cathedral Plaza. The hotel is actually above a neighborhood bar/restaurant which didn't bother us at all - but our room was on the 4th (top) floor - no lift, no air conditioning & no offer of help for the bags from reception - which is also the restaurant pay counter. Just know that before you book in a hot month. Bathroom is tiny but fine & clean.

Stanza molto carina, confortevole, profumata e pulita. La reception è nel bar sottostante gli alloggiamenti e questo può sembrare strano. Il proprietario è molto gentile, non parla inglese, solo spagnolo. Posizione centrale, a due minuti dalla cattedrale di Santiago. Super consigliato!

Las habitaciones olian a cerrado o moho no sabría describirlo. La ducha no tragaba el agua. Y para colmo, por la mañana el personal se metió a la habitación antes del horario del check-out sin ni siquiera llamar antes. Me parece que se aprovechan de la gente.

Blood stained sheet. Reception closed and unstaffed. Called the number provided and they refused to assit us. As well, they threatened to evercharge if we bothered them again.
