Perfect for family with kids

After many trips to 30A, we finally found a great house in the perfect location. We have 3 kids, ages 4, 5 and 6. The beach and two family pools were all in short, easy walking distance that made for a great, fun week. Texting with the property manager was easy and they were very responsive. We were even able to check in a couple hours early.

Perfect Place to Stay

This beautiful home exceeded our expectations. Spacious, clean, comfortable, high-quality furnishings and decor, we were so happy with our choice. Every bedroom has a king bed and it's own bathroom- so nice! Short walk to the beach, pool, town. I can't imagine a better place for the price. We would love to stay here again!

Great House

This was an amazing house in a nice, quiet part of Seaside. Great kitchen, huge living and dining rooms, and nice bathrooms. Very usable porches and a really neat tower. Having three bikes at the property was very convenient. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Spot!

Taste & Sea was everything it said in the description. It was beautifully furnished, very comfortable and had a well stocked kitchen. The location was great- we walked or biked everywhere we went. I highly recommend this property and we definitely will be returning! All the people at Dune Vacation Rentals were very helpful!

Great house and location

We had a wonderful time at Taste and Sea with our immediate family of 5 plus grandparents. The home is very comfortable and you can’t beat the location!

Great location

We stayed over Spring break, the house was clean and location was great, weather was not (oh well). As a result, we stayed in a watched more TV that would be typical of a vacation in such a great place. The TV was apparently recently replaced and while it was very nice and large, there were no instructions on how to use the 3 remotes and there was no option to use regular cable due to it being hooked up incorrectly, took 2 different people coming the house on two different days more than an hour to figure it all out, which was inconvenient. I would suggest including general TV instructions for guests. I could have figured it out if it had been hooked up correctly from the start, but would still have been nice to have a simple instruction sheet on the basics of the remotes. Could use a non-stick pan in the kitchen. Also, property manager never responded to multiple texts requesting to log the TV out of my Netflix and Prime accounts after we left (I ended up doing it remotely from my accounts but would have been nice to at least get a communication back).

AMAZING!

My niece and I started our annual retreat in Seaside in 2018. We had to miss 2020 due to Covid. So this year was special. We have stayed in a different property each year. But I think Taste and Sea may be our go to for future visits. It is a lovely home with a peaceful and relaxing vibe. Great location too. Could not have been happier with everything about the property. We will definitely return.

Relaxing getaway

Beautiful home, very close to the pool and fitness center and a quick bike ride to shopping and dining. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we could need, plus plenty of room to spread out!

Beautiful house and great location, but no hot water!

This house was so beautiful and so nicely decorated! It was in a great location, and we had a great week at Seaside! However, the only reason for the 3 star rating is because, disappointingly, there was only enough hot water for 1 person to shower before running out, and this was just very inconvenient for the 5 of us! We like to stay at the beach as long as possible before all coming in to get ready to go out to eat, and no one wants a cold shower. We were not running the dishwasher or washing machine at the same time either. As beautiful and nice of a house as this was, you would expect a nicer, bigger hot water heater. Also, but not as big of a deal as the lack of hot water, was that one of the bedroom ceiling fans did not work well. It was very slow on its highest speed compared to all of the other ceiling fans. We like being really cool at night. The lack of hot water however is the real deal breaker for us and future stays, which really saddens me, because otherwise we loved this house and location!

Our stay was wonderful! The house was absolutely beautiful, spacious, clean and had everything we needed and more. The location is great-close to the square, the beach, the pools and the playground. 3 bikes and the option for the back house is great if we have a bigger group next time. We will definitely be back! Perfect House for a Family Getaway!

The house was wonderful! It was tastefully decorated and offered plenty of space for a large family to gather, but several quiet spots for individual reading, napping, watching the sunset, swinging on the porch, enjoying morning coffee or an evening cocktail. The kitchen was well-stocked with most anything you need for cooking. The owners also provided beach towels, which is a plus if you want to pack light. Another plus were the king sized beds in all the bedrooms. We brought our adult children so having three bedrooms with 3 adjoining full baths was great! We enjoyed going to the viewing tower each night to watch the sun set. Cottages with towers are always a plus! Overall, it was a beautiful and spacious home with only a 5 min jaunt to the private beach or Town Center. We will definitely come back!

Perfect House & Location

This house was perfect! It was nice, clean and perfect location! I would 100% stay here again! It was so nice to have all rooms on one level and for them all to have king beds, TVs and there own bathrooms so that everyone had their own privacy. There is a little side room by the stairs that could be a perfect play room or spot for an air mattress. Both porches are huge and the look out deck on the 3rd floor was fun. The house was way bigger and open than the pictures lead on the living room is huge! The house is super nice and clean and furniture and decor is perfect! They give you everything you need with beach towels, bath towels, outdoor shower, puzzles, games and so much more! It’s a short 2 min walk to the beach and about 4 min walk to town! So easy! There is a back house so if you had a big family it would be perfect but if you don’t need it you definitely have enough privacy from it! There are also several bikes at the house to use! The pool is about a 1 min walk from the house and there is a kid pool, adult pool, tennis courts, playground and much more! We had the best time! Highly recommend!
